reas package

I see this come up over and over again about the reas package so just wanted to share our experience. we are cruising western oct 9 and booked the reas(romantic escape at sea package) which allows you to book a couples massage ahead of time and palo reservations along with numerous other perks. I had no trouble booking palo. we booked for tuesday because we will have been through all reatraunts at least once. However when I wanted to book the massage times were already so limited. We could not get in until thursday at 1pm! the earliest they had on Monday our first day at sea was 5:45. Debbie was a tremendous help but was only able to book a couples massage. thanks,mary

the problem with the massages is that Disney does not own/control the spa ... it is run by a third party, so DCL (Debbie) has to get appt times from the spa and work with what the spa gives them.

if i book the REAS package will debbie let me make ressies for palo brunch at the same time? or will i have a chance to make ressies for brunch on board if i get there early...i will be on the 4 day wonder and i hear the brunch ressies go fast!

i will be with you on nov 14!!!we need to set up a meet time!

For what it's worth--Debbie can also only book the couples massage for you because that is what comes with the package.

I have heard others say that they were able to get 2 separate massages once on board--however they cannot book it this way for you, and it is unlikely that the spa will make this exception because they use the couples room for this, not the regular massage rooms.

yes debbie can book your palo brunch time and you can also request a dining rotation.

An interesting story (or maybe not) - I was on the August 14th Magic - the first cruise messed up by hurricanes - Charley that time. Anyway, we had booked our massage for our second sea day. Due to itinerary changes, that day was now Nassau, so we rebooked for a day earlier. With everything screwed up, there was another couple scheduled for the same time. The Spa people were very apologetic and gave us free Rain Forest treatments for the remainder of the cruise. They also rescheduled our couples massage for Castaway Cay on the beach! It was wonderful. So, while Charley messed up many things, it actually enhanced our Spa experience.

Actually, on the 4 day Wonder Debbie can NOT book the Palo Brunch for you. She did tell me though that she can do that on the Magic, but since there's only one brunch on the Wonder and seating is sooooooo limited she is not able to book the Wonder brunch for REAS guests.

Absolutely!! As soon as we board we'll be in the Palo ressie line, then onto Parrot Cay for lunch, then to our room, then the silly safety drill (I know it's important, but the vest makes me claustrophobic), and then deck 9 or 10 for the sail away party!!
