REAS Package and Palo

My wife and I have the REAS package for our upcoming Magical Halloween trip. With this package, Palo's is included. My question is, how is this shown to the server? Is there anything I'll need to sign when the meal is over? What about adding a gratuity?

They will still give you a slip to sign after Palo's dinner, even though the dinner is part of the REAS package. There is a space on there where you can add the gratuity.

Same thing goes for the Spa treatment you choose. They give you a slip to add the gratuity.

fortierv - thanks for the information. Does the slip from the spa indicate the amount of gratuity included in the package?

(I posted a question regarding whether massage gratuity is included in REAS package on another thread. I guess I should ask the question here since the question is more related to REAS.)

Our experience with the romantic package from another cruise line: they gave us a slip after the massage indicating the price of the massage and 18% tip which were both included in the package, then there was a space for us to fill out the additional gratuity. I wonder if DCL does the same?

I don't believe a spa gratuity is part of the REAS package ... but I'd like to know since we're cruising in less than 4 weeks.

The gratuity for the spa is not included in the REAS package. You will be given a slip after the treatment, and there is a space on there where you would write in the amount that you want to tip.

Make sure to tell your server at Palo's BEFORE he/she rings you up that you have the REAS package. They will ring up the part covered by REAS separately from any alcohol charges - we didn't know and our server had to rering ours up.
