We are about 1 day away on putting a deposit down on a cruise for 2006 but I have a question about the REAS package. It seems like a really great deal but the best part seems to me that I will not have to rush around the boat like last time to get everything that I want. So me question is how much does the REAS package cost? And do I have to book it now or can I add it on later?? Thanks for any help you can give.

Oh yeah also if you have done this package if you felt it was worth the cost that would be great to know too.

hi- this is what my cruise agent told me from DU:

"The REAS is $339 for 2005 sailings. It can be added to the reservation at any time, but payment is needed at the time of booking if the reservation is already paid in full. The package includes dinner at Palo (with advance reservations), romantic turndown service performed while you are having dinner at Palo, champagne breakfast in bed (scheduled once you board the ship) and a spa treatment from a selection of two. The spa treatment choices are a 50-minute couple's Well-Being massage with aromatherapy oils or a combination treatment beginning with a 25-minute couple's Spa Taster (back of legs, back, neck and shoulder massage) followed by a 25-minute facial booster. You will also receive a gift basket that will be waiting in your stateroom when you board the ship.

Disney will book your reservations for brunch and tea at Palo as a courtesy. The service charge for these meals ($10 per person for brunch and $5 per person for tea) is not included in the package price".

hope this helps....i am looking forward to this package :flower1:

As noted above the REAS package is only currently available for 2005 sailings. You won't have a problem adding it when it becomes available for 2006 sailings at a later date. The payment for the REAS package is due at the time final payment is due.

If we reserve REAS and my husband doesn't want a spa treatment, can I do two? We may go with other couples; can we reserve that and let one of my girlfriends have the spa treatment? Or is everything done as a couple?

Thanks!

I will give you the textbook answer--The Spa massage is a couples massage only, and is the only massage they can book for you.

That being said, others have had success changing this on the ship to 2 individual massages (so it has been reported) however the package includes only the couples massage so be prepared if you cannot change it to 2 individual massages.

The massage is performed together in the couples room. Both of you are in there at the same time with 2 of the spa staff doing the treatments (one for each of you.)

Hope this helps.

Thanks SueEllen! How about getting my friends to keep track of my kids while my husband and I do the massage! ::yes:: ;) ;)

The kids will probably be happy in the clubs for that little bit of time. :)
