Reas help for 1st timer

My family and I will be taking our first Cruise on11/4 (land /sea). I've noticed postings about reas...what is it? Can I book Palo through my T/A (? What about Spa and Hair Braiding for the kids? I/m sorry for all the questions, but I'm starting to feel a bit overwhelmed...thanks again....

Oh I'm telling you I am really out of the loop, I just posted the same question at the other reas? question. I have no idea what this is but it sounds interesting to me. This is so overwhelming by the time I get on the cruise ship I'll need to be institutionalized!!!!!! This is getting way to crazy for me I just want a nice vacation.

REAS="Romantic Escape At Sea" package. Look on the search feature on the board and you'll get the exact details. Basically it lumps together some great benefits that are usually only available to conceirge guests, or would cost more itemized. I think the best perks are you can select your dining rotation,
and pre-book Palo and the spa to avoid having to get to the port early to board and make these reservations that morning. And the cost of a couple's massage is included in the package. I never would have considered a massage before this cruise, but my DH and DDs arranged one for me and it was unbelievably relaxing-and this is from someone who is very modest and uptight about personal space! So a couples massage would have been wonderful, and the whole thing would have been less expensive.

There are other little romantic things added like rose petals in the cabin one night, and I believe champagne when you first arrive, but you'll have to check the other posts about those details.

After sailing in a category 3 and spending a lot for some of these perks, I think the REAS package is a good buy. If there is a next time, I am thinking of booking a verandah room with a inside cabin across the hall for the kids (they will be old enough then)
and buying the REAS.

you will not be able to prebook hair braiding, but that is readily available. Last time we criused they had a lady right up on deck by the pool.
you may REQUEST your rotation, it odes not gaurentee you will get it (we can only hope we do I have not heard of someone being dissapointed yet but as it gets more popular who knows?)
There is a welcome gift which includes a nice basket, a bottle of champagne, chocolates and a picture frame, palo preebooking as well as the dinner surcharge included, you can prebook brunch and tea but the surcharge is not included. You can prebook a couples massage, it is a great deal I am really excited about it, oh and you get a champagne breakfast in bed with a great menu and a romantic turn down service with rose petals.
