REAS and other Cruise Lingo????

Hi gang!
Can someone tell me what REAS stands for?
Although I will be going on my 4th Cruise (Hopefully next Sunday!)

I occasionally see some Cruise shorthand I am not familiar with.

Also, for anyone who recently cruised, Were there any "must have Souvie's for the "Disney Addict?"
Do they still do the silent auction?

REAS is Romantic Escape At Sea. For a price ($299 in 2004, higher in 2005) you get a couples massage, Palo reservations, a welcome gift, a special romantic turn-down one night, and champage breakfast in bed one morning. Many like it because you can book your Palo and spa reservation without the ressie rush.

REAS stands for the Romantic Escape at Sea package that can be added to your cruise reservation. It includes a gift basket, dinner at Palo (with a romantic turndown service on your Palo dinner night,) a couples massage, and a champagne breakfast "in bed" The package is $299 for 2004 sailings and $339 for 2005 sailings.

You can book your Palo dinner and brunch, a couples massage, champagne breakfast, pick you dining rotation, some type of a arrival gift. It's $299.00. I'm sure someone can give you the
phone # to call to book it.

I was thinking about doing it for our December cruise...but now I'm scared to use my CC. I'll need it in case we have to evacuate. So I may wait until after hurricane season is over and see if I can still get it. If not, then next time.

Don't forget what happened the last time you had "romance at sea".....lol

We're getting a lot of gusty wind here right now. No rain...but the radar shows it's coming. Our yard is full of tree debris right now. I thought I might have some relief with Frances gone from our area...but now when I go back to work on Tuesday, we start all over again with another one!!!!!!

Let me know if you do the REAS or not.....and I don't know what the other thing is you mentioned. Barb should know if they are still doing the auctions.
