Sounds like you do not know, either! :goodvibes

slk-I would love to see that car! I think my DH would faint if I overdid it too much, but I am with ya...the more disney stuff, the better![/QUOTE]

We just traded in our Explorer for a bright chili red Saturn Vue and the first thing DH and I had to do was decorate!

I have a Minnie Mouse antenna ball - the black matches part of the vehicle and the red bow matches the rest. When we were at WDW last month, we bought the magnetic "been there, done that, going back" bumper "sticker" and DH also found one that says "Magic Kingdom" and all the letters are made of Disney icons or characters. We also have a WDW vanity plate, so the whole effect is obnoxious and we love it!

If rearview mirror decs are illegal, maybe look into the mag bumper stickers? Or stick an antenna ball inside where you can see it?

btw - those danglers are fantastic!! And definitely on my list for our next trip. :goodvibes

do the magnetic bumper stickers leave marks on your car?

LOL...apparently in the state of FL, it depends on how the law is read! I did some googling and came up with this link (above.) You may not want to read the whole thing, but some dude got busted hauling drugs, and he was originally stopped for having an air freshener hanging from his rearview mirror! BUT, the lawyer showed that it is NOT illegal in FL to have something hanging from your rearview! BUT...another lawyer showed another section of the law where it CAN be interpreted as illegal. I will investigate further....

I think the point is...if you are suspicous and the cops are following you, then DO NOT hang anything from your rearview mirror!

I had the magnetic ribbons on my car (until someone stole them  ) and they didn't leave any marks, so I don't think magnetic bumper stickers would....but unless they are something no one would want, they do run the risk of disappearing :(

Launghing place makes an antenna topper holder that is a spring and sticks on. My friend uses one in her car....but you would have to be willing to stick a little round base on your dash ;)

I finished reading that link...the case was thrown out because it was determined the cops had no right to stop him over air fresheners.

My Dh discussed it over breakfast (see? I love the DISboards...I post a topic about something silly and end up having discussions about the law with DH!) and my DH made a VERY good point, that we cannot believe was not brought up in that case I posted...

SUN PASS! We both have sun pass transponders (for the toll booths, so we don't have to stop) and they MUST be affixed to your front windshield. So, the statute that reads that NOTHING can be affixed to your windshield is kinds pointless....state of FL is being hypocritical on that one! Anyway, the staute says nothing about rearview mirrors...but the lawyers argued that since the rearview mirror is attached the windshield, that it counts as the front windshield. Hmmm, interesting arguement, although it did not hold up in this case.

Ok, let's get back to talking about the fun stuff! :thumbsup2

Meriweather....I didn't know they made something to use the antenna toppers on your dash, that is neat. I never even bothered to look at antenna toppers since I have no antenna, but now with all these great ideas I will have to!

Beware ;) Lots of cool things here, bu there is what the topper holder looks like.

Ooo, marseeya! that is a cool plate! But alas, as you can read in my original post...no license plate holder for the front of the car! Isn't that awful? hmmm, but a "frame" for my back license plate that has something to do with WDW is a good idea...I didn't think of that!

How can I find out if it is illegal to have something on my rearview mirror in FL? I mentioned it to my parents, they are both born and raised in Miami and neither one of them have ever heard such a thing! :confused3

We just moved from a state that had only back licence plates to a state that has both front and back. So we did not have a license plate holder in the front, but when we moved we went to one of the dealerships and had them put one on. You could do that, I don't think it cost us anything, and if it did it wasn't much. Then you could proudly display your disney license plate.

I have never heard of it being against the law to hang something from the rearview mirror, but I guess it does make sense.

You know, my DH said that we could put a plate holder in the front, but I thought he was just kidding! That's true, i know in CA you have to have a tag on the front and back, so that makes sense, it is totally "doable!"
Thanks for the tip!
