Really worried about my TWA ressie

Well, I know they have already been purchased by AA. I had ressie for early Nov. I bought online thru TWA web site. I never recieved any paper confirmation. I tried to call the 800 # to just confirm, wait for half hour (literally), and was cut off. I search for the same flight on the web, and are not available anymore (could be full, could be cancelled).

This is so frustrating. And their web site has no re-confirmation section. Sucks.

Pretty much all of the TWA flights are turning up on AA's schedule as codeshare flights, so look at the departure times on the AA schedule and get the AA flight numbers that correspond. Your flights will probably be there if they have not been cancelled. (TWA's former hub is my home airport, everyone here is purchasing through AA for those flights, rather than TWA, because it is unclear how long TWA's back-office operations will be kept going.)

If you did the ressie online, did you not get an email? You should have, and that can function as your proof. Good luck.

I have the email receipt, but that turned out useless. I finally got through to TWA, and was told that they ceased operation in JFK. Therefore, they ask me if I wanted to be transferred to AA.

What kind of question is that? Of course I need to be "transferred". I paid already. I was not notified. And I had to be on hold forever to get to a live person.

Anyways. I transferred my flights to AA, really bad seats, but at least it's similiar flight time. I was told the price stay the same... but who knows.

I then asked for a confirmation, an iternary, so I can show to get on plane. AA was asking me why I need one. Seems like the agent has no clue about recent incidents.

I am furious about all these. Sure, everyone is under stress right now. And airlines are going under. But do you think other companies can stay in business with this kinda of attitude and service? What if you order from McDonald and they never tell you they're out of burgers? What if you buy from EBay and never heard from anyone?

Ah.
