Ok..so i know the matketplace and westside are free to walk around,,etc...and I THINK that u can visit Pleasure Island before 7 for no charge,,,but what about,,we go into pleasure island around 5 or 6...do some shopping, etc and grab a bite to eat, well,,,service was slow,,,etc and we dont get finished till 730 or 8,,,,do we have to pay ro get out and back into marketplace/westside?I am afraid to go in case we get stuck late and have to pay 20 bucks to just get out........OR do they go around and charge you if u are still there?

There is a new admission policy at Pleasure Island. You only pay once you enter one of the clubs. You can go "into" PI, hang around outside, buy drinks at the outside stands, shop, etc, but never have to pay the admission until you enter a club. So, I don't think you'll get stuck.

That's correct. But even under the old policy, you would not be charged to get off. Only if you wanted to stay and be in the clubs.

Pleasure Island doesn't open until 7 pm, but after that point, you are free to walk through without paying admission. If you choose to go into the clubs there are 2 choices of admission. The one club admission is $9.95 plus tax and the multi club admission is $16.99 plus tax.

Have a great time!

The multi club adult ticket is $20.95 plus tax ($22.32). There is now a child multi club ticket for ages 3-9 that is $16.95 plus tax ($18.06)

Then they raised the prices back to the original prices. I know that the multi club pass had been $16.99 as of the beginning of December. Thanks for the update!

Wow-thanks for the update. The older boys are budgeting their trip (which includes PI). I will tell them of the prices and the better choice being the multi-club ticket.

So how does this new system work if you use Plus options on your MYW tickets to get into PI? Can you still slide your ticket before entering PI?

There is no "gate" at PI at which one would swipe their ticket. The admission from the Plus would be deducted at the club entry.

HMMMM am i the only one that finds the idea of a multi club childs ticket a bit scary? Arent these bars we are talking about?

Yes they are bars. But it's not like a 9 year old can say "Well, I think I'll head over to the Adventurer's Club tonight." Children cannot get in unless accompanied by an adult (read: parent) which is a whole different thread for the community board. ;)

Has anyone heard about any problems with the local Orlando teen population hanging around in the streets of PI? Nothing against teenagers, mind you, but there is a small element who could go out looking for trouble. I would think a place like this that is open to all would attract them like bees to honey. Sure beats hanging around the movie theatres.

You will see some teens, but most will be with their parents. The big draw for teens seemed to be the club Motion, due to the type of music played there. However, that club is now 18 and older.

We have never been bothered by younger people at PI just "hanging out".

I don't know about Orlando kids, but one weeknight it is (was?) free for members of the Disney College Program and that became party night. Tuesday or Wednesday, I think it was.

Yes, there are 2 WDW castmember nights during each week. They are on Mondays and Thursdays. These are not just open to the College program, but any WDW castmember.
