Really Really Sad...please help

My dad is doing sooo much better today. They have him on the right medication and he actually got out of bed today and walked the halls! We moved him to a hospital in Philadelphia because he may still need a drain placed in his liver to drain the infection and the little hospital we had him in doesn't do the procedure. He is still having bad headaches. The docs say that he may have small absesses in his brain that they can't see on MRI. These should be helped with the antibiotics he is on.

Yay!!!!!!! I am as always, amazed by the kindness of strangers. I am so happy that my little girls will get to grow up knowing their pop pop.

I can now start to get excited about my upcoming trip:flower3:

I just came across this thread as well. Thank you Lord for your miracles. All I could think reading through yoru posts and seeing the pic of those beautiful little girls was how awful it would be for them to not get to know their grandpa. I am so happy for you & your babies. Continued prayers for you & your family.

Earlier this year we had a scare with my dad. They saw something on his lungs & everyone was positive it was mesothelioma. You know how exstatic we were when the pulminologist said that it was just scaring. We did have to wait for a month though between the time it was seen on the MRI to his appointment with the Pulminologist. It was a very scary month. During that time we actually decided that he would go with us to WDW for our summer trip so that if he was sick he could spend as much time with us as possible.

Again, I am thrilled for you. Have a fabulous trip.
