Okay, I kind of feel like a n00b lmao asking this, but I'm curious. How do you make pictures into button-like things, like this

Sorry I am asking so many weird questions but, ok Taking a picture and making it look like that? If so, I am guessing you will need a picture editing program like photoscape or photo shop. If not, if this doesn't answer your question then..umm I am kind of confused lol.

Oh, well those buttons are called flair.

I'm pretty sure, they started with facebook. I don't know where else you could make them at other than there.
