Have you been eating anything salty? How about bacon? Is it near TOM? Did you drink a lot of water first? Hmm.. all these things can cause water retention, and if you are up that quick and you have been op, I bet that is just what it is.
Keep up the good work you have been doing, and I bet it is better next time you venture on the scale. Sometimes we have to push through the discouraging parts to get to the rewards...

I fluctuate up/down, just like Otto's doll said, depending on what you ate, what you did. It will come back off.

Keep up the good work, that new clippie is right around the corner.

It is probably just due to natural fluid retention. This is the reason I only weigh myself once a week. Keep on doing what you've been doing and the next time that you weigh yourself you will have lost that lb and probably a bunch more.

I know exactly how you feel! I am suffering the same injustice myself. But let's not let it defeat us. Let's keep our heads up and know that we can do this. Change plans if necessary, but never surrender!

Keep the Faith!

It's nothing but good ol' H2O !!! It'll be gone the next time you weigh in. Watch the salt intake the day before weigh-in and you'll see the results from all of your hard work. Those darned old scales are famous for playing mind-games with us -- we just need to remember not to let them get the better of us ;) Maybe you should teach those scales a real lesson and just not step on them for at least another week :p

We all know you're doing great, so you just keep telling yourself that too.

I haven't cheated in awhile and each week it is up and down...I feel like a yo-yo, but I am hoping that one of these weeks it will be down by alot!:p

Keep the faith, it will all even out in the end! :) Hugs!

Hi,
I've been in Curves(exerise and weight loss center} for almost two years now....When i first started to work out and eating right i also gain a couple pounds....My trainer told me that you will gain because your building mussel and that mussel weighs more than body fat....So i wouldn't really worry about it....It took me a while to get on this rountine of exerising and eating right especially when your a chocolate lover....They also told me if you have a craving for whatever to satisfy your needs as long as it's not all the time and mounds of food, that it's ok just limit yourself....If you don't satisfy your craving thats when people tend to bing...
Sharing my experience.....

Have you measured yourself? Don't obsess over getting lighter. Measure yourself and I'll bet you see that you are getting smaller.

You've been working out...you have probably built muscle which weighs more than fat. OR that nasty bloat fairy has paid you a visit ;)

Ah, hun! I know how you feel, and I hate that feeling. It's all I can do not to run out and show myself by eating everything in sight.

That said. Let's look at this reasonably. How often are you weighing yourself? Trust me, I've done the weigh myself every time I go in the bathroom routine. So I know. Your body does weird and wonderful things. Up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down. STOP!!!!

You've heard a lot of things before me, and they are all GOOD things to think about.

 • It could be water weight.
 • It could be TOM.
 • Drink your water.
 • It could be muscle.
 • Measure, measure, measure.
 • When the Bloat Fairy visits, we grin and bear it.
 • The Whoosh Fairy could be right around the corner and
 • The scale is not the only way to measure success!

I stand by my "trick" for the day before weighing! ;)
Eat FISH and drink your WATER!!! lol lol

Take care, sweetie. You are doing a great job even if that scale doesn't co-operate. You are getting healthy and looking after your body. That is not to be sneezed at. Celebrate the new you! Weigh to go!!!!
