My Mom told me she still has some really old paper tickets from the trip just she and I took in 1973. This was when they had E rides and such. What would they do with those now? Anything? Any credits towards tickets today? I am thinking no but figured I would ask. I think she just had them in a drawer and forgot they existed. She has been back twice since and I think just came across them.

I have these too (which makes me feel old enough to be your mom?!? ) Granted mine are from about 1976. Don't know if I could part with them...

I have an old certificate good for a day's pass as well given when I talked through the turnstiles in the early 80s....

No answer for you - but will be interested in the answer you get.

If the ticket book is complete including a coupon near the front called a "transportation ticket" then it may be traded in for a one day ticket that fits in the turnstiles. (A two day book, with two transportation tickets, would be traded for a two day modern ticket, etc.)

You handed in the transportation ticket when boarding the monorail or ferry for the first time. Hand stamps were used back then to let you go back to your car/resort and back to the park.

A used ticket book has credit value for each remaining coupon, something like 25 cents for an A ticket to 75 cents for an E ticket. All the coupons in one book may be traded towards one Magic Your Way ticket. It was not unusual for a guest to go home with an A coupon or two left over as opposed to take a ride on Cinderella's Golden Carrousel before leaving.

You might want to keep it/them as a souvenir instead.

Take it with you and see what happens. We had an old ticket from before AK existed and when we traded it for a current ticket, we got a one day park hopper. We didn't have to pay anything. So you never know....
