Christmas is over, it's freezing outside, and I want to go back to Disney...NOW! OK, sorry, just pouting a bit  .

I need to know what you all do for an in-between trip Disney fix. In other words what do you do for that magical, warm, and sunny feeling you get when your at Disney when your not at Disney :earboy2: Am I making sense?

I need some Disney magic and don't think the people at the local Disney store want to see me hanging around there anymore :rolleyes1

So any and all "Disney Fix" tips would sooo be appreciated about now! Thanks!!

My husband and I kind of use the disboards for that...keep us in the loop about everything there. We also listen to Disney music when we really miss it. And we plan and talk about our upcoming trips a thousand times. Nothing too spectacular...I'm sure others have much more interesting ideas. Hope to hear some fun ones!

Itll be another year before I get back to WDW. I am really needing that fix now because its been a year since our last trip. I have been listening to Disney music and using the DISboards. I am working on my lime green luggage tags too. I am also busy anticipating our tip to Key West and Miami in a couple of weeks. The other day, I watched my 2004 Disney Vacation Planning Video. I'm interested in some more Disney fix ideas. Thanks for any tips.

Watch your favorite Disney Videos - or go pick yourself up a new one ....

Always puts me in that Disney frame of mind

We also have many disney specials, like from Travel Channel or something, that we watch. It also helps to work on scrapbooks from past trips -- although that usually only fills time shortly after the trip!

That's funny, Emme. I get the Disney bug every winter. It came a bit early for me this year, though. That's why I find myself on this board right now. I usually go to the Disney website, read posts on these boards, search the TV for Disney World specials, watch my Disney vacation planning video, and I've even read the Official Guide and the Unofficial Guide books cover to cover before. I was just thinking today that it might be time to buy a new one. It's been a couple of years since I've read them. :hyper: :flower:

I've downloaded music and videos from the parks, resorts, rides...etc. Every once in a while...like now, I sit at the computer look at the boards and play the music.
Right now I'm listening to reflections of earth at Epcot.

Winter must be the time when that Disney bug goes around. I get it EVERY winter, too.

What a great thread. I made a CD of Disney theme park music today, and played it as I drove around running errands. Got to hear the entire IllumiNations loop!

7 days to the half-marathon!

Oh, we also listen to Live365 radio online....go to live365.com and you can search for disney music...they have tons of things to choose from and it's free.

Before I lived in Orlando, I used to watch the vacation planning videos religiously. :D that really helped after a great trip. And the best part is they're free.... you usually can order them on Disney World's website.

Hope this helps!

(can you guess that my favorite show is Fantasmic?  )

We visit these boards, other web sites, the official Disney website (every location), play our CD's (especially WISHES!), watch old videos. I also have a handheld Disney Trivia game which is great. We laugh because after 20 visits, you'd think we'd know so much, but we don't! The game makes us look for details on future trips. My son also has Disney Monopoly and the Magic Kingdom board game. They are great for a quick Disney fix!

Our next trip isn't until spring of 2006.....YIKES

I love Live365. When I need a Disney fix, I go there and listen.

And now that you do live in Orlando? :listen:

Oh the jealousy that I'm feeling.

To get my fix, I go to WDW in January. This is the least expensive time of the year to travel there. Everything appears to be discounted, from airlines to hotels to rental cars. My spouse and I do not exchange birthday or Christmas gifts, instead we go to WDW in January and renew our annual passes. Need a fix go go go to WDW!!!!!!!!!!Crowds are down, no lines, weather is a roll of the dice!

I find when I start listening to the disney music, I miss it even more!!!! Thank Goodness for vacation pics and videos. But then again, that makes me miss it too. Good thing I have my DH under my spell and we go every year.
