i could not believe what i was reading... a new planet was found (Kepler 22b) and they said that the surface temp was 72 degrees.......now.......this is coming from people who cannot tell you if it is going to rain more than 24 hrs out and usually cant get within 5 degrees of an actual temp a week out.......and this planet is 600 LIGHT YEARS away.........come on mannnnnnnnnn

realize that, but thanks a million. i was generalizing for the sake of the stupidity of the claim, in other words there is no way in, well, the universe that they know what the temp is there...and if they do.... my response is that we should hire the astronomers to do the weather....it was a joke, nothing more............

light travels at 186,000 miles per "second"......take that times the thirty one million five hundred eighty six thousand (31,586.000) seconds in a year....thennnnnnnnn take that times six hundred.......long ways isnt it..........now, whats the temp there????????? not even an observation, in fact its a stretch to call it a guess.
