REALLY late resort arrival, should I be concerned?

In April, we arrived at POR around maybe 11pm. It took FOREVER for someone to show themselves at a check in desk so I could get a parking tag. It was very obnoxious.

THIS TIME, we don't anticipate arriving to CBR until possibly 1 am! I'm really concerned that something is going to go wrong with arriving so late. I've called twice and both CMs said to note our arrival time on online check in but I don't see where to do that. Does anyone know if there's something more I should or could do to make arriving so late go smoother? TIA!

There isn't much I can think of. With online check in there is usually a spot for estimated arrival. I thought everywhere got ride of parking passes as they now use the magic bands even at the parking booths at the parks.

If you do online checkin and already have your MB, you should just be able to use that to access the parking.

I can't speak to the parking element as I never drive but I have checked in late at a few different resorts and never had a problem. In all cases there was a CM on duty to handle check-in.

Absolutely nothing to worry about. In December we didnt arrive at All Star Sports until about 1am and by doing online check in our room was ready for us before we even got to the airport!

I've never had to wait for a CM to help me, and I have arrived after Midnight a few times.

We've never had an issue... I think that your previous experience was unusual.

We always drive to WDW and 99% of our many trips we arrive between 1-3 AM. Never had 1 issue. You do not need a parking pass, we have not gotten any on our last 5-6 trips, I have read that sometimes they give them out but you use your MBs for the gates to get in or out. We usually feel special because we are almost always the only ones in the lobby and a CM has always been by the counter or at least very close.

We've had some late check-ins and never have a problem. I hope it was a fluke for you - maybe the CM was sick and had to leave the desk for a while or something along those lines.
