REALLY last minute trip!!!!!!

We were visiting our Son in Tampa last week and Sunday 9/24 was his birthday and we weren't sure what to do for the day, so of course we thought of WDW. I called on 9/22 and was able to get a 1 BR for Sat and Sunday (OKW) nites!!!!!! I was very surprised that it was so crowded during this time of year. The CM said it was very slow and then everyone showed up on 9/23!!! We had a great time. It also was very hot, like the middle of July, but that was fine for us.

Glad to hear that. We're going down on 10/13 for our son's wedding near Tampa then cheching in at BWV on the 15th. My other son and daughter and their families are staying at VWL. The newly weds are coming over on Monday to spend the day with my ex and staying overnight to join all of us for breakfast at Kona Cafe on Tuesday. We've waitlisted to get them a room for one night at VWL. What do you think the chances are? There wqs nothing available except a one bedroom at SSR.
