. . . well, it is really important on today's research agenda . . . and to my dh. . . since he didn't get angry about that $200 cabana rental I laid on him Saturday. . . stipulated that I must find the best pizza available within the resort or even delivery to HRH would be acceptable for the cabana day supper. . . but it better be good:scared1: oh, the pressure. . . .

So that's the BIG question. . . where's the best pizza. My research suggests that there is very good pizza at Sal's Market Deli at PBH and also at Big Kahuna Pizza on CityWalk.

Where's the best pizza available. . . help a sista out here ;)

Sal's or Flipper's. Not compatible with Alli though.

I don't think vacation is going to be compatible with alli. . . at all. Even though it will be before the 6 months is up, I'm going to stop taking it for vacation. I want to be able to enjoy myself and not constantly be worried about every single gram of fat I put in my mouth and I CAN NOT have side effects while on vacation. I figure with as much walking and exercise we will be getting, I shouldn't gain any weight. I'll still make good choices at most meals. . . but boy am I excited about the bad choices I'm also going to make:cool1:

So, to my original question, if I'm going to make a not so healthy choice, I want to make certain it is the best it can be. The pizza question is for my dh. . . well, I'm going to eat it too and I don't want to waste calories and fat grams on crappy pizza. I'm also looking for the best burger I can find. . . maybe even two :scared1: . . not at once. . . I know what you all were thinking. . .

Sal's in Portofino does have good pizza, as does Flipper's (not in Universal but will deliver to your hotel).

A lot of the times I get a Pizza of the Day from Mythos as an appetizer depending on what it is.

Also, if you end up leaving the resort and end up on I-Drive, I LOVE the pizza at Pizzeria UNO or UNO Chicago Grill I think it's called now. My mediterranean flatbread there was better than the one I had at Jiko the next night.

Ok, that's 2 for Sal's. (and the other delivery recommendations have been noted. . . but I think we would prefer something on-hand unless it's absolutely incredible. . . most chain pizza is good, but not amazing. . imho)

Anyone else??

We think Pat O's has the best burger on property. We haven't ordered from the offsite pizza delivery options, but I would also choose Sal's.

Sal's or Flipper's.

Got to agree with these two choices!

The walk to PBH to get Sals would be more than worth it!:goodvibes

As for the burger - we love the Cheeseburger in Paradise at Margaritaville. And it keeps getting better and better after more and more Margaritas. Well, maybe the burger isn't that great, but the Margaritas are and you won't care about the burger anymore.

We love Sals too! We ate at Uno Chicago grill also and loved it there!

Should've thrown in my vote for Sal's in my previous post.

Margherita pizza from Sal's is the only specific dinner request from the kids (teens) when I'm planning the vacation.

what's this??

I'm also looking for the best burger I can find. . .

The kids and I did a review for the best cheeseburger rating all of the sit downs at Universal. There were 100 possible points. HRC beat the Cheeseburger in Paradise by one point.

I vote Flippers. DH and I always get a pizza from here even if we have to pick it up ourselves. Their spinach, chicken alfredo is to die for. I used to eat it at least once a week when I was living down there in 96 doing the Disney College Program. It was the only pizza place that would deliver to the used to be undeveloped portion of I-Drive.

I've only had Sal's, and while good, I think I burped garlic all day. TMI, sorry, but TB ... their crust was just FULL of garlic! We had the Quatro Formaggio, or whatever it was.

No, this is valuable information. The people have a right to know. :lmao:
