Really how bad are the LBV Marriotts?

We are doing a split stay this summer at the Springhill Suites in LBV and then moving onto Disney property. I read reviews and most people complain about the traffic getting out of the place and noise. Has anyone stayed here recently and could give their opinion.

We stayed at the Springhill Suites by SW over spring break and had a great experience. This one is closer- right next to the outlets and cheaper- yay!

I have stayed a few times at the LBV Fairfield and had good experiences. About the traffic: yes it can be horrendous (esp. at afternoon rush hour). We just allow for it. Most of the day it is not too bad turning right and then crossing under I-4. Most of I-4 is pretty bad during both rush hours and sometimes at night (weekends, usually). I haven't had much problem with noise either. The only time we had a problem it was with unchaperoned teen boys who were throwing chairs into the pool. I reported them and immediately the boys were thrown out. We never saw any family members with those boys. Fairfield has a very crowded breakfast but I don't know about Spring Hill breakfasts. Might be a silly question, but when would rush hour be? Afternoons? We would try to get to parks at opening, leave from 12-5 and then return once it gets cooler. Would we have to consider rush hour times?

And being a teacher- I have no problem reporting children (or adults) to the front desk.

The worse traffic times seem to be when people are coming from the outlet mall, so think like a shopper. They all want to turn right to get on I-4 and the line backs up to the point that you have to sit through several lights. We elected to just stay in the left lane and go down a block to get back to the parks. I don't recall the number of that highway, but it's the one we take if we stay at Vistana. Turn right on 535 out of Vistana or left on 535 from the Marriott complex, then the first highway on the right. It takes you straight to the parks or you can get on I-4 that way also.
