How far in advance can I make reservations for character meals, etc?

I just did this a year ago - but lent all my "planning papers" to a friend who's at Disney World RIGHT NOW.

Anyway - can I make reservations 90 days in advance or 180? I thought it was 180, but it looks like 90 now?

And since I'm asking - do you all like the online reservation? I think I'll still call, because Disney people are like the only people I like to talk to on the phone! LOL

We may be going in February! Short notice for me to plan - considering our last trip...

If your trip is in Feburary, you can make all your reservations on October 27 or after. That is because it is 90 days right now, but on October 27 it switches over to 180.

With a February trip, your 90 day mark would fall on November 3, which is after October 27. As anyone who has a trip prior to April 26 can make reservations on October 27, it might take a good deal longer to get through to Disney Dining on that day.

No, you dont' get 90 days. You get October 27, which is more than 90 days from a trip in February. Trust me, if you want anything popular, you need to be in touch with Disney Dining as soon as you can be on October 27. Anyone who wants to make reservations through next April is going to be on the phone or online making reservations that morning.

I hate to be a downer but the hardest part will be even getting through. When the window opens up to 180 on October 27 there will be a mad rush of people with windows anywhere from 90 to at least 120 days out all calling at the same time.

You can try online too but a server crash is inevitable.
