REALLY dumb question...

ok...CRO says that my toddler doesn't count at all. Since POR can sleep 5 (using trundle bed in AB), we can still also have P-N-P for toddler (who doesn't count at all in the number count.) I just think it would be terribly awfully crowded, lol.

I didn't realize that. Good to know.

My opinion on POR is that it will be crowded. I am a family of 5 and when we stayed there, we used the two beds, and the trundle and there was essentially no floor space left. Maybe if they removed the table and chairs there would be enough room. the trundle mattress is pretty thin, and you are essentially right on the floor. That said, we really enjoyed our stay at POR. we stayed in AB, these are the rooms with the trundles. We looked over a quiet pool, and had the laundry right there. The second bus stop was a very short walk away. The main complex was a far walk though, and that was the biggest negative we experienced.

Very sorry about the terrible service you had. No excuse for it.

If I were you, I'd try the garden wing rooms at the Contemporary. They are usually priced pretty well -- especially during August and especially if you get an AP rate. Not sure when AP rates for August will be announced. We stayed there last August and loved it. It's so great to be a monorail ride or walk away from MK, especially in August with the heat and humidity. Very easy to return from MK for a nap or swim.

The rooms are some of the largest on property, with big bathrooms, too. If you are 5 plus one under 3 you can stay in one room. Two in each bed plus the day bed. You could also fit in a pack 'n play. There is large table which makes breakfast in the room convenient.

We had a ground floor standard view. Great sliding glass doors to the patio and a pretty view of trees and a small pond. The kids loved going out the sliding glass door to see the bunnies, ducks, etc.

The pools are maligned for not being themed but we enjoyed them. One pool has a great slide. The other, the quiet pool, is very scenic as it's situated right on the lake. The lake has a beach and water sports like water sprites. There's boat service to Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness. Chef Mickey's is right on property. They also have a great arcade -- the best on property we've heard.

Best of all, the convenience to MK can't be beat. With four children, there's alot to be said for monorail convenience. Plus, we found it fairly easy to take the monorail to Epcot as well.
