A few weeks ago I was really sick. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with bronchitis, pnuemonia, and pluersy. I took a week off of work and though I wasn't feeling all the way better, I had to go back.

Now, it's back. I can barely breathe. When I do breathe, I can feel a sort of bubbling in my chest. I have a productive cough, and the color of the phlem suggests the pnuemonia is back. I don't feel nearly well enough to go to work. When I do cough, I feel like I'm going to black out. I almost fell down at work yesterday because my head started spinning.

My doctor isn't open today, and the clinic in town doesn't open until 1/2 hour before I have to be at work.

There's no one to cover me at work. No one. Plus, I have to work with a manager tonight that seems to have it out for me.

Can anyone tell me it will all be ok? LOL It's only a 6 1/2 hour shift, I can do this, right?

If your sick and miserable I don't think you should go, but if you feel you must, those 6 hours will go by pretty quickly. I'll think a good thought for you right now. :goodvibes

That is terrible that you have to go to work. If you feel that bad, they should let you stay home. You could end up having a relapse, if you do not rest enough. Make sure you call your doctor.

Hope you feel better.....

With all that you have said is wrong, Has your doctor tested for TB?

Two of the survey crew workers at our office (they're outside, we're inside)
Tested positive for active TB.

The first one was really sick like you are for over a month and had to have that plueral (sp?) area scraped out due to it constricting his lungs....

So far no one else has tested positive in their families or other crew members.

But it's something to think about if your not getting better...
