Really crazy credit question.

Ok, I hope you all will be able to follow me on this one.

I am trying for an Illuminations cruise for my family of 4 and my dad and his fiance who will be joining us (total of 6). Well couldn't get one today but there are always cancelations.

I was thinking if I can't get one, maybe give HDD a try. Now they are on the free dining package so they have 7 TS and 7 CS credits. We will use our DDE.

We have 6 sit down restaurants planned. I know for HDD you need to use 2 TS for that. Ok, here is where it gets tricky. Can they use 2 CS and 1 TS for this? (each of course) I thought I read somewhere that you could use 2CS for 1 TS, or maybe it was 1 TS for 2 CS. Ok so you may have to help me out on that one.

OR

Should one of them use the 2 TS that are left and then I pay for 5 meals with the DDE? So one person uses the last 2 TS and whatnot.

I am kind of torn at what to do right now, was really hoping for an Illum cruise, but thought this might be a fun alternative.

Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated!!

I can't answer your question but I'm pretty sure DDE is only vaild at HDDR at the 9pm show. When I made our ressies a few months ago, the CM said they only offered discounts on the latest show. Also it's stated on the DDE benefits list. HTH Good luck in getting the Illuminations cruise!

you can't use 2 CS for 1 TS. hope this makes your decision easier

That sounds correct for HDDR and DDE.
I called a few weeks ago about the Spirit of Ohana show at the Poly. I asked about DDE and I was told only one show allowed the DDE discount. I think 8 or 9 p.m. is what I was told. I didn't really file the time in my brain since that timeslot was booked up for the day I wanted anyway.

Ok so from what I am reading I would either have to pay, or have them pay for both meals outright. Or have one of them use both the left over TS credits and one meal would be paid for with our DDE.

I knew about the late show for DDE so that isn't a big deal but thanks for the reminder
