I was feeling shaky so I used my sons meter and tested my blood it was 85...it felt like 40....I was ravenous....so what did I do..EAT!!!! 3 small pieces of left over whole wheat pizza - homemade so fairly health...do I stop there NO!!!!!

2 pop-tarts and a glass of milk later I feel like crap!!!! Haven't felt like this in days since I've started watching what I eat...Stupid move. Now I have to put it behind me and move on to a better place....

 Don't beat yourself up. ONE bad meal or snack or even a bad day isn't going to sink you. But do think if there is something you can try to change from this-- like making sure you eat every few hours so you aren't starving and eating the things you shouldn't.

Have you thought about joining us on the Biggest Loser thread here? We just started a few Challenge today, but you can jump in at any time. It is a great source of encouragement and accountability.:goodvibes

I am joining but I forgot I was until today...I'll have to take a look at the Challenge that started today....

I think it's safe to say we all have days where we get off track, overindulge, etc. The key is to just chalk it up as one day - not the end of the world. Accept it. Own it. Move on. :)

Own it and move on Kimball. Just don't use it as an excuse to blow the whole day. Blowing one meal is better then 3.

Hang in there, we are here for ya!

 hi zurgswife!! hey, you did a good thing posting here...

Thanks for all the good advice....:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I am not as concerned with what you ate, as I am with the fact that you needed to eat it! I am assuming that your son is a diabetic and so you probably know all about it, but stuff like that happens to me when I have low blood sugar. I wouldn't think of 85 as low, but if your sugar is used to being higher it could be!

I remember one Super Bowl a few years ago, we were hosting a party and I was running around cooking and getting everything ready, and I didn't eat breakfast or lunch. By the time the game started, I felt so horrible that I tested my sugar and it was 10. Seriously. Ick. I have never in my life shoveled in everything I saw like I did! I can't believe that I didn't gain 10 pounds!
