Really Awesome Easter Baskets??

HI DIS friends,



Our church is having a huge community fun day around Easter time and I'm in charge of getting easter baskets for door prizes. I'd like to get a grand easter basket for each boy and girl and some second and third baskets at second and third place.

There's no budget limit so I'd like to get something AWESOME but I don't like what I see at Walmart or Kmart the supermarkets -- too samo, samo.

Any suggestions for just stunning and "WOW" looking baskets for kids???

Oriental Trading company had free shipping, not sure if they still do. I got a bunch of stuff for my girls baskets and for my daughters birtday which is on Easter this year. You can make some really fun baskets with the stuff from there...

I just checked out a few websites...Harry and David has some truly awesome Easter baskets, also Godiva...a little pricey, but unique and beautiful! Have fun shopping!

She will custom make the baskets just the way you want. She has a list that she emails and you can choose items for her to put in the baskets.

I was at Target yesterday, and they had some beautiful Easter baskets. Otherwise try a craft store like Michael's or Joan Fabrics.

When I was a little girl I received a beautiful wicker laundry basket as my Easter basket. I was certainly "wowed." You can fit a lot of stuff in there!

Try www.casually-elegant.com. This lady (Ann) is in my hometown and makes some AWESOME chocolates. She can make an entire basket out of chocolate. She makes large easter bunnies. If you can imagine it, she can create it out of chocolate.
She can package things to be shipped all over the country. It's a little pricey, but VERY special.
