Tony Danza is in talks to host a classroom based reality show here in a Philadelphia high school.
He would teach English class and although he has a bachelor's in history education, is this an appropriate way for children to be educated? While reality shows aren't supposed to be scripted, I'm sure many people don't act/react the same when they are being filmed. Would they really be concentrating on the subject? There would have to be some drama, contention, gossip, whatever else there is that makes reality shows so popular. Is this what's best for our children?
These kids have to attend this school everyday, if Betty gossips on camera about her friend Veronica & it's on the show in a few weeks, how's Veronica going to feel? There has already been problems with violence in the school being considered.
