Realistic? Transfer times

There has been a schedule change on my flight from when I 1st reserved it in March.
Flight now arrives MCO airport at 2:25p. I have an ADR at MK at 4:15p. Planned on taking DME to Coronado Springs where I will have already completed my online checkin.

Any real chance of making that ADR? Unfortunately there are no later dining times at MK for 3OCT.

Would I be better off arranging for a town car transfer to the resort, skipping the free DME?

Or somehow convince myself I could fly with only what I need and get a town car directly from the airport to MK. Is that really my only chance of making a 4:15p ADR and Liberty Tree?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

No way using DME and Disney buses.

Might not even be possible with car rental or car service depending on your flight arrival time, weather, crowds in the airport, traffic, you name it. I wouldn't book a dining reservation on arrival day now that you have the credit card hold for all the TS locations.

I've read to allow 3 hours travel time using DME from MCO to WDW Resort to Theme Park. That gets you through the turnstile at 5:25pm, too late for your 4:15 ADR.

I think your only bet is to go "rogue" and take a car service directly to TTC. The risk here is that while DME is not a luggage delivery service but you would be using it as such in order to bypass making a stop at your resort. Just don't have any carryon larger than a backpack, so that you can go directly into the park.

Using a cab or car service, I think 45 mins from MCO to TTC, 30 mins monorail/ferry to turnstile, 20 mins to LTT for a 4pm check-in.

I was afraid of these answers. Drats.
If I did go "rouge" (arrange for a towncar transfer directly from the airport to MK) would my free dining plan credit still show up on my MB?
Or do I officially have to checkin at the resort for the DDP to go "active?"
Make sense?

It is my understanding that dining credits are not active until you check in at the resort. Park tickets are, dining credits are not.

Thank you Vicki. Glad I found this out now instead of at the park.

Easier to re-group/plan now vs while standing in the park.

These boards are great!

Ouch...DDP credits too?!?

IMHO, you should cancel LTT, use a QS at Pepper Market, and save the TS for another day.

We geekishly always want to see how quickly we can make it from the airport gate to Main Street so we've timed this on our last 3 trips. Once staying at Coronado Springs, twice at All Star Sports. Our fastest result was Coronado Springs but we hit the jackpot that day. We were the last people on the DME bus right before it left. When we were dropped off at CSR I went in to check in immediately (first one in line) and my wife waited for the stroller and handled checking our carry on bags. Then we walked up to the bus stop and the MK bus pulls up. With all of that luck we were still at 1 hour 45 minutes until we first viewed the castle.

I love that you time yourselves! I would love to think that our whole trip will be covered in Pixie Dust, but I just don't see this as happening. Will certainly be less stressful if we don't plan on hitting our ADR.

Nutella waffles it is!!

hopefully the flight is not delayed for any reason or you could be late for party also. do not see how towncar or taxi will be faster asyou would have to get checked bags where taking DME means your bags can be picked up by DME without your waiting in baggage

what airline & do they offer any flights the same day that would get you there sooner?

if so, give them a call and ask to be accommodated to be put an the earlier flight.

I would LOVE to go earlier. Unfortunately, I'm traveling with others and they can't go earlier. If I break out on my own, it's a few hundred more in air expense. Then I have to weigh if the few hundred more on a flight change is worth giving up that $$ to buy more "stuff" while at Disney!
Decisions . . . Decisions . . .

Since the airline changed the schedule on you, you can request an earlier flight, same day, at no additional expense, IF available. I remember calling American Airlines a few times because they would constantly change schedule and seat assignments, splitting up my family all over the plane. However, I never met any resistance in changing to match what I originally booked.

If the ADR is just for you and you *can* split from the others, I totally would call and get that flight changed.

by accommodated I meant complimentary;). If 1st person you speak with is resistant, politely ask to be connected to a supervisor or go thru whatever reward area of the airline.

unless u booked all of ur parties' travel, unlikely they would allow u make any changes to their reservations. They would have to call on their own

Ohhhhh! If only it was that simple! The only earlier option is a connection (I am currently on a direct flight) this goes from a 2 hour flight to a 6 hour flight. AND I only arrive 1 hour earlier! Really not worth it.
Where my dilemma comes in - I could pick a different airport, arrive earlier, but it is $387 more - because I'm "choosing" a different departure point. I realize that's not much for some pockets, but that takes from my park sending budget. Not sure I want to give that up vs simply giving up dinner at LTT! :(
