Going to DLR in early Jan. Our flight will land at LAX at 1135 (hopefully there will be no delays). I've reserved the Disney transport, is it called Magical Express at DLR too? What time could I realistically be at DLR? I'm thinking 2:30-3:00 is this about right?

We're staying at Camelot, I'm assuming we'll be able to leave our bags there even if the room isn't ready. Is this everyone's experience.

Grayline's Disneyland Resort Express. Not run by DLR.

I think you're being extra realistic with your timeframe!

And yes I believe the Camelot will hold your bags even if you don't yet have a room.

My experience/thoughts:

I think that you're coming in at a time where the bus comes every half hour, but you'll miss the one that arrives as you do, and will have to hope your luggage gets there quickly, etc, to get the next one. I like the bus, I do, but you need to know the times that it arrives (and know that the time means when it gets to Terminal 1), and it stops at all terminals (I think there are 7?) before hitting the freeway.

Our plane landed at 9:40 and we had to wait until the 10:30 pickup. So we walked slowly, got our bag slowly, then walked to Terminal 1 just to take up time (b/c waiting outside is boring with very few places to sit). We were at GCH getting checked in right around noonish, if memory serves.

But with Grayline...things vary from experience to experience. Very little consistency. But the actual ride is useful, IMO.
