Real World - Paris

Does anyone else watch? I keep waiting for the big fight, but nothing's happening. There was the minor blow up with CT from Boston but that's nothing compared to other Real Worlds.

It's a good thing that Ozzy follows - they are ALWAYS fighting with the neighbors!

I love Ozzy, but always seem to catch them on re-runs! Did it get funny again this season? I am so out of the loop thanks to Netflix.

Well, I think it's funny. There's just something about Ozzy trying to put a trash bag in the can. They were having neighbor problems again tonight. It seems the neighbors have a tennis court and are playing at all hours. Ozzy said, "Great, we live between John McEnroe and Peter Paul and Hitler!"

I saw the first few episodes of the Paris season, and I refuse to watch any more of it! Seems to me that the Real World casts have become more and more ridiculously annoying since Chicago... How hard is it to write articles about such a fascinating city AND submit them on time?! It's not like these people have anything else to do besides get drunk and hook up I was watching a Real World special on VH1 sometime last week, and it made me long for the days when this show was comprised of REAL people who had real issues, other than who ate all the peanut butter and drank all the champagne.

Now as for The Osbournes... Well, that's entertainment!

I watch The Real World & The Osbournes, and I like both shows alot. I think there is going to be a fight involving Ace and one of the guys at some point. I could be wrong, but when the show first started it looked that way on the previews. We'll just have to stay tuned.

I hear ya, Delikado. I was thinking that last night. I mean, go shopping and write about it - is that a stretch? And making a deadline is an ordeal for them?? Have these people never been in school? I liked Hawaii where they had to run concerts for the surf shop. That was difficult. Los Angeles was an excellent season. Pedro dealing with dying - you can't get more real than that.

I was looking at the pre-season previews as well, Gette, hoping to get a glimpse of what might happen. I saw nothing spectacular.

I have been watching Real World Paris but haven't been too impressed so far. I don't really like any of the characters except for possibly Ace so I think I am just watching it because I have watched all of the others. What I don't understand is why the "point person" doesn't make the rest of the group turn in their assignments to them the day before they are due to the boss. Then he/she could review them, make sure they are in the right format, etc. and they won't all be rushing around like idiots!

That special was great! I loved how Mike from Miami finally fessed up about the threesome in the shower ! I think that had to be one of my favorite seasons -- plenty of drama with Melissa, Dan and Flora around. Plus, Sarah was really funny and Joe and his extremely tall girlfriend were always interesting. I also have a special place in my heart for the San Francisco season with Pedro. For him to go on t.v. and talk about his life was such a brave and courageous thing to do.

I always watch Real World, but this season is horrible. Road Rules is actually better than Real World for once. I like the Osbournes, too. Last night, they bleeped out when Sharon said "burn their house down"

I've been watching RW-Paris but I've been disappointed. I'm having a hard time getting into the characters this season. I'm actually kind of annoyed after watching it. It doesn't seem to be holding my interest enough.

As for Ozzy, just seeing him walk, exercise or painting is good for a laugh if nothing else is going on during the episode.

I can't stand Leah, Simon, or Kristina. Mallory and Ace are the only ones I like at all....

On the other hand I like almost everyone on Road Rules (especially Cara ).

Osbournes is better than both though.

I like Road Rules better, too. lilboo and I have many stimulating and intellectural conversations regarding Surf Girls, Real World, Road Rules, and The Osbournes.

I watched Cupid for the first time last night - and whoa nelly! Boy, that one friend sure is harsh on the guys!! I did, however, like the guys they picked to be on the show......

I missed the last 2 shows, but I haven't been totally impressed with this season. Ace is the only one I really like.

I also missed the last 2 Osbournes. I'll have to catch them in repeats. I love that show!!

I've been watching the RW-Paris as well - I've watched mostly every other Real World cast, and so far, this one is making me yawn. How hard is it to write an article when that's the ONLY thing you have to do? And submit it on time? Wow guys, real hard.

Although, CT (from Methuen, MA !) is fun, cuz whenever I see him without his hat on, I yell at the screen for him to get a friggin haircut!! What's up with that kid's melon?

His accent makes me laugh though, b/c it's so "extreme Boston".

Ace is way too "Down home" for me to handle. When he said he missed Wal Mart , I laughed. Here's his chance to experience some culture.... and he misses WalMart.

Simon is my favorite character... he is just soo cool. And the osbournes was funny. With Jack and his paintball gun. RR is ok this year but i never saw.. did they get rid of abram???

Yes - Abe got the boot last week..... I believe that Donnell was just as much to blame as Abe - and if one went, the other should have gone, too.

I was screaming at the tv too last nite.

They have such an awsome job. I know it is a job to write about their feelings for a tour book.

Do you think they'll do Disney Paris?

They do waste a lot of time not getting their jobs done. They should be treating this show as a job and doing their job, people are watching. This has to be the greatest resume' you can have.

Ace did make a funny remark about just give me Walmart. My daughter is working at a YMCA camp. Some counselors came from London and Austrailia and she took them to a Super Walmart, they couldn't believe it.

This Real World is a yawner. I've been watching but it's not something I look for. If it's on I'll watch. It looks like Leah is not going to get along with anyone.

My favorite Real World was Hawaii. What a soap opera! Ruthie in rehab, naked swimming, Colin and that loon hooking up. It was great. Since then the RW has been a little boring!

I'm sorry folks, but I think BOTH "The Real World" and "Road Rules" have gone severely down the drain since their respective 3rd seasons. Nothing compares with the heartache and drama back in the early 90's!

On a related note, for anyone who loved the Europe (Season 3) edition of RR as much as I did -- the best yet! -- did you know that Michelle died in a car accident? I guess this happened about a year ago. Very eerie, considering that two of the cast members from the 2nd season of RR got into a very serious car accident as well. Not to mention the heartache of Pedro (RW Season 3) passing away. :-(

But I digress. RW Paris is a snore. The casting is getting more and more repetitive every year. There's always the vixxen, the slob, the player, the innocent, etc etc. And not to mention that they always look like they tumbled right out of a "Gap" commercial. I miss the days when cast members had PERSONALITIES, rather than just superficial good looks!!
