Real Presentation or E-Presentation?

I've been waiting for years to apply for the College Program. Waiting another month for our campus presentation shouldn't be so bad, but it is. I've been to every CP meeting for the past 3 semesters, and even viewed the latest E-Presentation for good measure. Part of me just wants to go ahead and schedule the phone interview and not wait for the campus meeting, but I'm not sure that's the best idea. Now that even the real meetings have switched to phone interviews, is there a benefit to waiting for the campus presentation? Perhaps having the phone interviewer be the presenter I meet on campus? Is there a benefit to just scheduling the phone interview now? Perhaps a better chance to get the role I want? With the paperwork, etc. would this even be any faster than waiting a month for a real meeting? I would appreciate any insight. Thanks for indulging my impatience. :stitch:

I really don't think there is much difference in the presentations. I have been to many of the live presentations because I support the College Program at my school. I would wait and go to the live presentation and get the low down from a real person. They will give you some tips about your phone interview. they have so many positions to fill that they will not run out. If you want a character role you must go to a seperate interview. Good luck.

I was wondering the same thing. I am still waiting for a presentation to be added for my school. Based on the past, they have come to my school at the end of the semester- so I would probably have to wait until April if so. I was hoping my friend's school would be up already, since they usually have their presentation at the beginning of the semester and I would go there.

I have been to a presentation already though, so I was considering doing an E-Presentation. One of the things I don't like is that you send your application/role checklist after your interview, meaning your interviewer doesn't have it right in front of them like they would if you went to a real presentation and handed it in to the presenter. From what I know, you do not get interviewed by the person who came to your school to present (I didn't at least), so it's not like you're meeting them first in person before talking on the phone.

So I don't know what to do. Can someone who has done the E-Presentation before, maybe another session, and was accepted give us an overview?

I think as far as info goes the e-presentation and the live presentation are almost the same. But it's nice having someone to ask questions and talk to, which you can do at the live presentation and not the E-presentation. I know it's hard for some to attend the live one (and I may have to do that, based on the audition dates), but if it's at all possible I would say attend the live presentation if you can.
