Do you have a real or fake Christmas tree or no tree at all

Well, fake is easier to clean but it doesn't "feel" like Christmas to me without the real one. In fact, we have to go out & cut one down - usually a sad looking one with a flat side & holes . . . so that it fits against a wall & I can put larger ornaments on. (Not quite a Charlie Brown one though.)

...............::yes::

I grew up with a real tree and DH and I had them for a few years. However, no matter where we bought it or what kind we got it never lasted much past Christmas. I like the tree up until just after New Years so we've been doing the artificial thing for the last few years. I just light a lot of scented candles and it almost seems real;) .

Fake  :( Forget it.

Its REALL for us or no tree at all. ::yes:: :teeth:

We're getting a real tree. It's our first Christmas together in our own house. His family always had a fake tree and mine always had a real tree. For me it's just not Christmas without going to pick out the tree, so he gave in and we're getting a real one!

No tree this year, we are going to be in Houston for Christmas :)

Fake, but we are considering a real tree that we could plant in the yard..:D

Our tree absolutely has to be REAL. Even if dh and I didn't both think that way, I'd feel guilty living in North Carolina and buying a plastic tree. Christmas trees are one of our biggest industries.

We would NEVER get a fake tree...real trees have the scent and everything. Sure, the pine needles and having to water it often is a pain, but, there's nothing like a real Christmas tree...definitely not a fake. ;)

Fake. Not because it's easier, but because my SO has allergies.

real ones have a better feel, but fake ones look better

Last year I didn't have one.:teeth: It's been awhile since we've had a real tree. We use an artificial one. It'll go up this week probably. It'll go down on December 26th.

only ever once did we have real

fake - allergies

Never say never - I would never have believed I'd have a fake tree.

Dh has never had a tree of any kind. My family will only do real trees. So its a real tree for us.
I used to have a childhood friend who had a fake tree that spun. I helped take it down 1 year. Maybe things have changed in the way of packing them away, but it was a lot easier just to unhook the string holding our real tree to the wall and carry it outside. A quick vaccuum and it was all over. Took longer to put away the fake tree. (this was in the 80s btw)

I can't vote because we have a fake tree but some years we get a real tree. It depends. This year the fake is going up. My allergies have been horrible so fake it is.

Both - A nice big real one, about 7 or 8 feet tall and a tall skinny fake tree that goes in our basement family room.
