~ Real Housewives Of NewYorkCity ~

Ehhh I am done w/ this series. I wasn't a big fan of Ramona or Sonja. Really wasn't a big fan of any of them lately.

Hahahah! So good! But I do wish she would have done the Ramona runway walk with the crazy eyes.

WHO WILL BE WATCHING TONIGHT? :happytv:

Season 5 Premier of RHoNY tonight 9pm on BRAVO

In the Season 5 premiere, Sonja kicks things off with a party to mingle with Aviva, Carole and Heather. They all seem to hit it off. . .until Ramona arrives. And as they say, with new friends come new revelations -- in this case, Aviva learns that a couple of her "new" friends have had relations with her ex-husband. Meanwhile, Heather and Carole try to figure out who to trust and not. Picking up right where they left off, LuAnn is still annoyed with Ramona about the disparaging comments she made about LuAnn's parenting (from last season) and tries to discuss it with her at the party, but Ramona has no interest. Things get interesting as Sonja, Ramona, Heather, and Aviva head to the Hamptons for the weekend and once back in the city, LuAnn surprises the new ladies with a shocking story. The three new women agree to never become "mean girls."

I saw the 10 minute preview over the weekend. What is Aviva's handicap that LuAnn mentioned?

Aviva Drescher is the first and only New York City born and bred "Housewife" in the history of the show. At 5'10" with brains to match her beauty, this part-time socialite and full-time mother will let nothing hold her back. When Aviva was just six years-old, she was in a tragic farm accident, which resulted in the amputation of her left leg. Aviva has never let this tragedy define who she is. Aviva has a solid education. She received a Bachelors of Arts degree from Vassar College, a Masters degree in French from New York University, and then went on to earn a JD from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Instead of practicing law, she devotes her time to her investment banker husband Reid and raising and educating their family of four children on the Upper East Side. Aviva continually teaches her family the importance of giving back through her philanthropic work as the National Spokesperson for One Step Ahead, an organization for amputees and as an Advisory Board Member of Cancer Schmancer/ Trash Cancer and for her work with the Live4Life Foundation.

Heather Thomson, a popular and innovative shapewear line. Fifteen years as a successful designer and stylist, she's worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, and Tina Knowles and Sean "Diddy" Combs. She was the founding Design Director for his Sean John line, and is credited as a major force behind multiple CFDA award nominations. A married mother of two, Jax, 6, and Ella Rae, 4, the idea for Yummie by Heather Thomson was born shortly after having her children. Disappointed by existing shapewear, she set out to create something sexier, comfier, and "yummier." She came up with the patented 3-panel system that is now Yummie Tummie's signature. Since the launch of the original tank, Yummie by Heather Thomson has expanded into ready-to-wear and denim. In addition to her professional work, Heather supports several charitable initiatives including Kelllner Family Pediatric Liver Disease Foundation and City of Hope.

Best-selling author and award-winning journalist Carole Radziwill grew up in upstate New York. She moved to New York City at age 18 to attend college, earning a Bachelor of Arts at Hunter College and a Masters degree at New York University. In 1988 she landed a life-changing internship at ABC News. It was the start of a long and rewarding career. Carole's work with Peter Jennings' documentary unit and the news magazine shows PrimeTime Live and 20/20 garnered her three EMMYs, a Robert F. Kennedy Humanitarian award, and a GLADD award. Carole has traveled all over the world for her work, reporting on hard-hitting stories from places like Cambodia, India, and the Middle East. She was stationed in Israel in 1991, to cover the first Gulf War. And in 2001, during the Afghanistan War, she spent a month documenting the 101st Airborne Division in Khandahar for the ABC docu-series Profiles From the Front Line. In 2003 Carole left ABC News to write her first book, What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship and Love. It is a moving account of her life, her marriage to fellow ABC News producer Anthony Radziwill, and their heartbreaking battle with cancer. What Remains spent over 12 weeks on The New York Times Bestseller List and was nominated for the "Books for a Better Life" award. Carole is a frequent contributor to Glamour magazine and her first novel, The Widow's Guide to Sex & Dating, will be published in summer 2012.

I'm watching a marathon of last season and I have to say I am SO glad that Kelly and Alex won't be on anymore!!! Talk about two big mouths who get into everyone's business and don't know how to shut up!!! I was just watching the reunion and Andy must have told them 10 times to shut up!!! I think I will kind of miss Jill though. My friend and I said that we are going to have a drinking game with Luanne saying "Dah-ling!" I think we'll be drunk 20 minutes into the show!! :goodvibes

What did you all think of the new ladies? I liked Aviva, thought Heather did talk too much and was distracted by the size of Carols teeth compared to her mouth!

ICK... Ramona the loon was in her usual rude rare form for the most camera time and looks like Mario has jumped on the looney wagon . I can't imagine in real life these people acting like that as they would have no business or personal relationships.

Ugh, Ramona is already on my nerves. She's so awful. I really wish she had been cut loose with Jill, Alex and Kelly.

She was on FIRE last night. We need Jill back LOL... heck maybe even Alex. Someone that rude and well frankly crazy is just going to dominate every conversation , I don't want to hear her talk the whole season. From previews though, it looks like we may see Sonja drunk alot . My husband happened to be watching and was very surprised at how loaded she looked the whole preview. All I can think is its been a tough year money and ex husband wise.. so she overindulged a bit.

As much as folks bring up Ramona's drinking , you would think she would slow her roll a bit too. I would be so embarrassed if for three seasons they discuss how much I hit the wine bottle.

It seems like there is a career requirement for the housewives: In order to be on a RHO show you must...
A-design a line of shapewear
B-sell alcohol/wine
C-horribly sing awful auto tuned songs
D-Hawk a skincare/makeup line

I have a hard time seeing myself make it through this season. LuAnn has strayed so far from being the countess it makes my eye rolley muscles ache. I didn't love her before but she has fallen pretty far on the classless scale. Quit talking about what other people says. :sad2:

Ramona is drunk and unstable.

Same with Sonja.

And the new 'housewives'? After watching last night, I really just don't care. If I remember the show is on, I might give it one more change. But chances are, I'll forget it's even on.

I just cannot get into these shows any more. Instead of being entertained like I was in the beginning, I just embarassed for these women.

Watched last night, the new women do nothing for me and Ramona is just too irritating to watch. Between the stupid stuff she says and the ugly faces she makes...I can't do it.

The new women added absolutely nothing to this show. My DH said "it almost makes me miss crazy Kelly."

I had to force myself to finish watching last night's episode, mainly because of LuAnn. She is such a drama queen, stirring up trouble and acting superior. I just want to throw up when I hear her talk.

Ramona's rude, but there's something about her I just like. She seems more real to me than the other women. I thought her scenes with Heather were pretty funny, both women were complaining about the other for doing the same things! They both interrupted, talked too much and made everything about them, but yet they can't see that in themselves. Those 2 are going to be fun to see together.

I guess after watching Romona for the past few years I am use to her crazy behavior so I just ignore it. This Heather girl is going to drive me crazy!!! I do not like her. Could she bring up one more sad story??? Also after watching the old episodes this week I think she was with Jill and doing her shape line. It looked like her in the room when Jill did the showing to her friends.

Luanne is just classless. One of the women even said it was like a drive by. She came to air her dirty laundry and say bad things about Ramona and leave. I think Luanne's kids are wild because she is never with them and she tries to cover it up. Romona pointed out her daughter had been to 4 different boarding schools? Maybe she should be home with her kids instead of lunch with the ladies or living with her new creepy boyfriend.
