Looks like Teresa's family is every bit as much prone to causing trouble and outrageous public outbursts as she is..

Ashley.. Dear, dear Ashley.. Still spoiled rotten and wants everything handed to her on a silver platter.. And the way she talks to her mother? I honestly don't know how Jacqueline refrains from either smacking her up along side of her head - or kicking her out of the house permanently..

Hmm.. So Albie never made it to law school? That's a shame - because I think it really was something he wanted to do with his life.. Did they mention what he's doing instead? I may have missed it because the majority of the show was Teresa's family going bonkers.. And what about Christopher? I thought he was going to stay at the Brownstone and open a strip club on the side.. What are his plans now? His dad looked kind of sad that neither of his sons seemed to be interested in carrying on the family tradition of working the Brownstone.. Not saying they should, but it seemed like a sad moment for him..

Caroline - crying over your adult sons leaving home? Did she expect them to stay forever? They're doing exactly what they should be doing - finding their own place in this world.. I think it's time she got herself a hobby - or maybe she could go to work with Al - since she complains so much about not having any time with him..

I'm not sure if I'm going to like this new season or not.. All that yelling and screaming and fighting and swearing and taking swings at each other - not exactly a "relaxing" show to watch - LOL..

Oh - and "Juicy Joe"? My goodness - it must be killing him to have to work a pizza parlor and a laundramat.. (And how on earth is that going to pay for their mansion?) Granted, Teresa is making some money from her book - and from the show - but she doesn't strike me as the type who can shift her spending habits on a dime and I think it's going to cause serious problems between her and Joe..

Oh - and before anyone miscontrues my statement about Joe.. There's nothing wrong with the work that he's doing - at least he has a job (or jobs) - it's just that for him I imagine he thinks it's waaaaay below him - KWIM?

I taped the show and then watched it just before I went to bed that night.. Big mistake.. Got a headache from that one too..LOL..

I just wanted to say that I went to our local Costco on Sunday, where Theresa was doing a book signing. I'm not a big fan of hers, but I went to get the book and have it signed for a friend who LOVES the show. I have to say I was very impressed. She was nicely dressed, but not overdone, she was warm and friendly, but at the same time had an air of humility about her that I didn't expect. She shook everyone's hand as they came up and looked people in the eye and seemed genuinly interested in each person. I was very happy I went because it gave me a completely different impression of her than you get on TV.

Thank you for sharing that! Hopefully, she's getting good pointers from her publicists on how to continue to be successful at marketing herself. I do wish her well with that and think that some of the insane drama is on behalf of the show.

I think Albie said he was doing marketing for the Brownstone (and other places?) and I didn't really understand why Christopher was quitting his job there He is supposed to go and figure out what he wants to do? But how will he have $$? Hopefully he saved some money while living at home and working full time and being on the show .
But basically, yeah, both kids are probably being supported by the 'rents but I think they worked for it much more than Ashley wants to.

I am definitely going with the 'rents' paying the rent for the boys. I stated earlier I lived in that same building; 333 River Street, Hoboken, NJ while my hubby was designing/constructing one of the newer ports for the Port Authority. We had a one bedroom very near where the boys will be living with a view of the Empire State building. Rent back 2001-2004 was $3000.00 for a one bedroom … and with them out of work and renting a 2 bedroom and being 7 years later … I am guessing pricey.


To the poster that stated she found Teresa to be personable at the book signing, I am glad to hear that … makes you wonder how much Bravo wants the ladies to bring all the 'drama' on.

Seems all my fave shows are NJ based lol---Jersey Shore,Mob wives and now Real housewives of NJ!!! LOVE IT!!!!

Can someone explain who the sisters are. I thought I heard Caroline say her and Jacquiline are sisters and Ashley is her niece? Or is Jacqueline her dh sister. I can't remember.

Jacqueline is married to Caroline's brother Christopher. Ashley is Jacq's daughter from a previous relationship so is Caroline's step-niece.

Jacqueline's husband and Caroline are sisters. Ashley/Jacqueline are not blood related to Caroline but she was essentially saying 'she's not my sister-in-law, she's my sister. She's not my niece-in-law she's my niece.' Ya know, blood doesn't make family type of thing.

I'm with you...she acts like a tantrum-throwing two-year old not a grown woman. Heck, I think her nickname should be Ashley "The Sniveler".

She should get a job scrubbing toilets and have to pay for everything herself, see how hard it is to afford food - much less an *apartment* - in New York City.

I agree that the Manzo's are basically doing the same thing, but they don't bug me as much...maybe that's because they aren't whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiners like "Boo-hoo-hoo cry me a river" Ashley.
