I was just checking some rates and dates for the fall and found a cat11 GTY for 2 adults total $857.70 for a 4 night cruise I thought this was really good!!!! The cat12 was $300.00 more than cat 11 ---strange. This is one week after our anniversary (when we would like to be sailing) but we would save $120.00 to wait the week so I think it's better to wait. I am kicking myself I didn't do the book on board last week when we sailed. I am still ahead $20.00 though!
We paid wayyyyy to much for our 1st DCL cruise in 1998 cat9 -3 night through AAA $1600.00 I wish I had known then what I know now. This board is a great place for hints and tips so thought I'd pass this along. We need to go again so I can do the book on board for the 7 night Western which we have yet to do.

Go for it!!!
Sometimes there are great rates on the Cat. 11s...the same thing happened for the 7-day cruises this January.
We sail every year for our anniversary, which is on Valentines Day, but we go a week early because it is cheaper. Celebrate a bit late and enjoy the savings. :D

Is this a Florida resident rate? It is a very good rate. I would book right here through Dreams Unlimited as they are offering a rebate also. We also got a Castaway Club shipboard credit last summer but am not sure that is still available. Anyway, DU will get you the best possible rate and keep looking for better ones.

No this is not a Florida resident rate!!!! If you are considering it I would book it NOW before it changes!!! I would like to have more DIS'ers sailing with us!!!! I got it right off DCL website. It was still low this morning as my sister in law and her fiance have also decided to go along and they were able to get the same rate for cat11 gty that is with no insurance or transfers since we live in Florida and drive to port.
As far as Dreams unlimited goes yes they are awsome to work with however I checked about the rebate but since the price is under $1000.00 it doesn't qualify for rebate--bummer. It would work if you had more than two people on your reservation though. I guess since our cabins are separate it still wouldn't count since it is a searate reservation I didn't think to ask that figured I sounded cheap enough!!! :)
Dreams service is second to none and as far as the checking or lower rate goes, they have saved me $$$ twice which is awsome. I don't think that this price will go any lower it is only $50.00 more than we just paid for a cat10 3 night and 1/2 of what we paid for cat9 3 night back in 1998. I am in shock!!
I will check back for a Florida resident or Fall fantasy rate as it gets closed before the 60 day deadline and possible take advantage of a higher catagory.
As far as a castaway club onboard credit the only way to get that now is if you book another future cruise while on the ship. We will get the cc gift and reception which is great alone.

Carolyn is right, it is not a FL res discount, DCL has some great savings for select sailings (most in the fall) for Category 11 staterooms!

I have repriced a number of booked cruises over the past couple of weeks and saved money for a lot of clients!

Anyone who would like more info or a copy of these dates can e-mail me at reservations@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com
