Help...disneystore.com is listing one at Reagon National but I don't see it on the airport map? Anyone know if it still exists?

Yes I'm obsessed going out there for business but have to find my fix somehow:)

I am pretty sure that one is gone. There also used to be one at Pentagon City Mall, but I think that one is gone as well. I believe the closest to DC is Tysons Corner. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for the update:)

Oh well was hoping I could hit one. Seems alot of them are going away :( Won't have a lot of time and don't want to get to creative exploring! :teeth:

Correct. I think the Montgomery Mall is still around. The one at Tysons is pretty depressing now. It used to be a big glorious Disney Store (one of the "originals" which each store was different). Now, it is half its size (the other half is a Starbucks), and the current stores looks like a temporary store.

And don't forget the Disney outlet store at Potomac Mills in Woodbridge. I always find some great bargains when we are down there.

The DS at Pentagon City is gone!!!???

That's sad! I frequently used it to get a Disney fix while I was in college......

Not sure if everyone has heard but the Disney Stores are being sold (not sure of the legalease of it all) to the retailer
A Children's Place. The Disney Company wants to drop the Disney Stores from its family of businesses.

There have been several articles in various business magazines about this. Not sure exactly when this is going to happen or what it means to the TDS merchandise. We will have to wait and see.

Reagan National closed this summer
Pentagon City closed after last Christmas

Tysons Corner gained square footage in its remodel in 2001, it didn't get smaller, it got larger. It's just deep instead of wide.

Montgomery Mall closed a long time ago, like after Christmas 2001.

Lake Forest is still there, and Columbia Mall in Maryland is a new "Castle Store" remodel.

The one at National must have closed in late summer. It was still open around July 4th when I took my Mom to the airport. It was near the National Zoo store, if that's still on the map.

And I did go to the one at Tyson's Corner right after that and it was open.

Good luck finding what you want.
