ready to start shopping for those extra rewards!

I'm not sure if that is going to work. You might want to read the fine print. I think the double rewards are after you spend the $450 in those categories or possibly in eacg individual category. I got one saying after I spent $250 I would get double rewards in the same categories. The total came to over $1000 for the month because I used it for a couple big purchases (some of which were actually in the stated categories) and made a point of shopping at stores that catergorize themselves as grocery, gas, clothing rather than "other". Still didn't get any bonus points because I didn't have over $250 in any one category of the bonus categories or at least that is why I would guess.:confused3

Sometimes I think that they intentionally make this confusing so that they can have "fine print" that excludes you from getting all of the rewards that you think you should get. It's sad to say, but we had SO many problems with our Disney Rewards Visa. We just ended up switching to one with a better rate where we can get 1% cash back and then put that 1% in our vacation fund.

But I do miss that Disney Rewards Visa. Especially since it said "Charter Member" on it. :( And the few Disney perks every now and again.

Ya, they ripped me off and I closed my card with them. I put $20,000 on it for a car, used the credit card instead of one of their checks, and they said that it didn't qualify cause I used the card. Go figure. I would have thought using the card would have counted before the check...they just didn't want to have to pay me rewards on it, so I just paid it off before they got one penny of interest.

I just realized today that I'm being charged interest on my Disney package purchase. It clearly states on the statement that it is a purchase that qualifies for the 0 interest for 6 months! I had nothing else on the card. I paid it off and I do not intend to use it again.

:tink:

I agree with most of you, it is sad and it will be time to let it go when we reach a few more pts and cash them in to be used. :sad1:
I do think another Chase card would be so much better. :thumbsup2
