A plastic webcert costs $6.95 if you want the plastic one to take to the disney store for disney dollars. I decided not to get one and am just slowly paying of my allstars reservation with mine online. Everytime I get a webcert, I just go and pay that on the room. Hopefully I will be able to pay it all off with webcerts.

From what I understand, if you have any money on your account when the card expires, they just re-issue you a new card. But mine right now has an experation date of 2004.
