I am so looking forward to our first stay at WL, and have been reading the WL thread. I know I have missed some stuff and wanted to ask a quick question. Do they have a toaster or toaster oven anywhere in a common area that we can toast a quick bagle for breakfast? We like to do a quick breakfast in the room for several reason and this would be great.

Thanks

We were there last December, and didn't see a toaster oven. Then again, I wasn't looking for one either...

During our stay in January, I don't recall seeing one either.

hhhhmmmm........i don't think so. the only place that have the toasters in the rooms are the villas. and on the conceigre level but not in the rooms and only set out at breakfast.

We were there in June 2002 and there was one in the dining room where you ate after ordering food at the fast food place. I remember because when I saw it I told DH, for the price we should have bought a package of bagels at the gift shop and toasted them.

There is a toaster in the Roaring Forks but its probably just for use when you buy your bagel their. I suppose you could use it if no one says anything

Thanks everyone. Has anyone ever used the toaster? This is our first stay at WL and I'm not sure what to expect. We have always used the toaster, microwave etc. at the food courts and just wonderered if it was indeed ok to use this one. BTW, how are the breakfast selections and prices at the Roaring Forks? We might just blow off the food in room thing and do breakfast there.

I remember that 1 bagel was the price of a whole bag of them in the gift shop the $2-$3 range. Don't remember the rest.

RF doesn't have much of a b/fast selection. We had bagels & muffins every day. The bagels were abt $2.35 each. They also had "fast food" quality selections from the grill. I don't remember the prices of the rest. They had some boxed cereal (1 serving), fresh fruit, english muffins.

We are not big b/fast eaters, so it was OK.

Plus they have krispy cream donuts.

On The Newest WL FAQ (Part 3) go to page 2 FloridaCat has a link posted for all the restaurants menus and prices.::yes::

I'm sure they have toasters in The Roaring Fork. I believe they have at least one in each room of the RF and you should be able to use them with no problem.

We stayed at WL last year and before we left I bought a small, cheap toaster at Target for $7.99 or $9.99. We did the grocery stop before we got to the hotel and got bagels and bread. For breakfast we toasted the bagels and made peanut butter toast. When it was time to leave, I just left the toaster to make room for souvenirs! It worked great and I just unplugged it whenever we were done with it.

I used the one in RF with out buying anything at RF. When I was there it was the conveyor type. That was in 2001. No one had a problem with me using it I think because one thing it was fast, and second there where others who just bought bagels and just brought them down there.

We just returned from there last week and we bought bagels from the mercantile and toasted them in roaring forks. We even used butter and cream cheese from roaring forks.
