Reading Twilight for the First Time...

I know, I'm behind the whole country.

I downloaded all 4 of the Twilight books to my Kindle in case my girls wanted to reread them (we have all the books, too) but I have never gotten around to reading them. I loved Harry Potter, though, so I think I will like them, too.

Bella just took her suitcase upstairs in her dad's house...I think I have a long way to go.

Don't feel bad! I am 1/2 way through Breaking Dawn. Started reading them this summer. No teenage girls to relate to, I have boys, but I do like them!! IMHO not as good as Harry Potter. She's not a fantastic writer, but they are a good summer read!! Enjoy!!.

You'll probably enjoy them. I'm pretty snobbish about what books I read (i.e., most people don't like what I read and I don't care for the "mass produced" books that are generally on the bestseller list) but I did pick up Twilight at my kids' urging and they definitely held my interest through the 4 books. I could certainly see the flaws in the writing but I accepted that before I started reading and it was fine.

Oh, I know that. I was referring to reading a kid's book series, not that Harry Potter was in any way similar to Twilight.

I used to be a Children's Librarian so I've read many children's and YA series. I just haven't gotten around to Twilight yet. But I think it's time this fall...
