This is an amazing crew. With an amazing bond. Of love, friendship, all that mush. That great mush. Personally, I look forward to checking in with you all each morning, noon and night. And the hours in between, too. Technology is such a gift, to be able to bring together this widely scattered group to laugh, cry, hug, cry, jump up and down, laugh, laugh, laugh, and cry. The laughing is what brought us all here, but the sharing of bits and pieces of our lives, the good and bad, are what keep us here, together. I feel blessed to be part of it.

SNAP -- I PM'd you already, but felt I should say something here too. You are one of the originals! You were here when I first arrived and started pouting for attention. GACat expressed it very eloquently, and I echo her sentiment. I hope you'll stick around, even if you need to do it on a limited basis for your own personal reasons. Don't leave just because you think no one will notice or care. Because they (we) will.

DS heard the other mom’s chuckle as he described his arch nemesis to me. Apparently that was the cue to turn on the “DS Show”. He went and sat on the floor. I turned to watch both DD’s through the glass of the waiting room.

Your 5-year old should meet my 6-yr old, the 2 could pass out from exhaustion from trying to out-mug one another.

Mine was running through the house trying to sing Something New yesterday. He gets all the words correct and a few of the notes... where as my DD that has dyslexia gets all the notes right and most of the words. If I could merge the 2 together, I'd get one great singer.

I love Karen Kingsbury books. She writes inspirational novels. Be warned though, it's very dificult to put them down.

Steph, This is me and DH!! He is a great singer but can NOT remember the words. I have every word but can't carry a tune with 4 buckets and a dump truck.

Unfortunately for those around me, I love to sing and do it anyway.

Hey lady, I understand about only having so many computer hours and all that. I too moderate an online support group related to persons/children born with heart defects (my youngest). So I understand, I think, what you are saying.

I know for myself, all of that can get really heavy, and I think that that is, at least partially why, I like to spend time following the antics of this zany group. I don't always have time to post a reply. Sometimes I can't even keep up with the reading, but I try.

I sincerely hope that you can at least pop in from time to time to share a chuckle with us??? It would be sad not to have that SNAP in our lives!

Please. Everyone rest assured that all is well. I'm just swamped with too much real life and not enough hours in the day to live it. I've resolved the incident that pushed me over the edge in my mind, and I apologize for subjecting all of y'all to my angst.
