It's a dish that has to be put together in the morning or the rice doesn't cook right.

It's my DH's favorite...certainly not waist line friendly. Not that HE has to worry about that.

Mid 50's - yes, in Central Georgia, people. So, so nice.

It's just me and the little man today. DH organized a Father/Daughter trip to White Water in Atl. You think the clientele at Walmart is bad? You ain't seen nuthin...think Jamal's old thong pic. With tattoos. And lots of piercings. It's the only time in my life I've LOVED the industrial strength smell of chlorine.

Seven dads and seven daughters. Better him than me, I say. If that sounds harsh, try driving for a field trip with a load of 1st grade girls in your car. It's brutal. Bring on the Advil.

Word. (ZZUB, we really do say that all the time. "Yo" is hello. "Word" is goodbye. The origin of this, and the reason we continue it, escapes me.)

I hope this will be me today. With a dryer instead of a clothes line.

Now I really have no chores for today.

I'm done with my dinner. A pair of kitchen scissors made quick work of trimming the skin and fat on my thighs. Chicken thighs. So dinner is in the fridge until it's time to put it in the oven. Then it's just opening a can of green beans and dinner is served. I love quick and easy dinners.

Horsey - Are you ever going to actually finish your TR? Just asking.

Okay, no kidding around. In all seriousness, I almost threw up at supper last night. I really did. I even gagged a couple of times. Why? Because I was puttering around in the 'real world' and had completely forgotten about the nasty story I read yesterday on the DIS. Yall all know which one. In my temporary ignorance, I actually cooked corn for a side dish. To go with the Crunchy Taco Hamburger Helper we are all so fond of around here. We were chugging right along, all was going fine, the family is all sitting around the dinner table having a convo about our upcoming trip and who wants to ride what first, and then it hit me like a brick. As I was shoveling a spoonful of corn into the girls's mouth, it hit me. I remembered the description. The graphic description. And then I couldn't get it out of my head. I had to leave the table or else I would have seriously blown chunks. I still feel a little ill as a matter of fact. And I'm not exxagerating.

So thanks for that ZZUB. I took you to DW on my TR and this is how you repay me. By making me revisit my memories of getting puked on in the middle of the night by my kids. Be on the lookout for a lil sumpm sumpm later on to show my appreciation for that. I'm just sayin.
