Horsey, MM, TM: Thanks for your woo-hooties. I had it comin'.

Ash: Wasn't that a John Ritter movie with the glow in the dark condom?

B: You now know why I can haiku. . .and I'll bet even a few of my cadets remember what it is, too. . .

JavaM: I forget. Is yellow good or bad (or indifferent)?

And, I appreciate all the nice comments folks had about my occasional foray into haiku. . .ism. . .ness. . .they're fun, challenging, and oh so quick! Makes literature almost fun, eh? NO!?? Then you're all FLAGGED! ;)

Nice tag, Chris :teeth: I think the Tag Fairy will miss you while you are away.....

Steph, meant to say so sorry to hear of all your hubby's stress. And the fall through the ceiling!!! You are a good wife. I'm sure this vacation will be very special for him!

Horsey and Shelbee.....didn't the gardener leave the show ages ago? We're talking about John, right, who was Gabby's little high school fling??

I did not yet watch DH. What did everyone think?? I hope Mike doesn't stay in a coma too long. (I heard some stuff on the radio this a.m.) He's MY favorite.

SD, I really think it was Dudley Moore. Maybe Micki & Maude?? Although Ritter may have had one, too. Loved John Ritter on TV, but I don't think I've ever seen one of his movies.

Can't believe I missed Twinkie's pic again. You are right, U-Ma, she should put it in her siggie.

Only 4 more days of work! Which is awesome, but which also means I have to focus on getting SOMETHING done today!!

ASH!!! Look in the MIDDLE of the word....

Twinkie! Bummer. I missed your pic! Why are you hiding?? We are a visual crew and like to see our friends.

OK, tons to do today so please do not distract me!!!

Over and out. Everybody rock n roll...........

Jesse Metcalfe, the cutie, is supposed to play a bigger role this season, from what I read somewhere. However, his career has also taken off, so......Gee, I wonder why? ;)

It was okay Ash. I mutlitasked during it, as I did with the Amazing Race. Neither really kept my attention...

Have a great day all. :yay:

Hmmm, though Dudley may have had a movie with a similar scene, the actual movie I remember is Skin Deep with Ritter, and the scene in question involves fencing (as in the sport, not the thing horsey keeps her. . .well. . .horsies in) between two similarly clad, umm, figures. . .

Sleepy, yes, I remembered why you would be so good at Haiku. Still, you are and I'm jealous of your haiku abilities. But, I would like to read more of them if you get a chance. But please, don't tell anyone they are for me because, never mind, I think you know how that might look.
They are for the book you are writing, correct? As for the writing abilities, haiku and beyond, mine are puny. My oldest brother got all those genes. Me? I got the smart-ssa ones. . .ask anyone who knows me. . .

What is this thing of which you speak?

MSO! (to everyone)

Steph - so sorry about Crashdad. Hope he is okay and not feeling too sore. You can tell him he is not alone - if you can believe it, I stepped through the ceiling of our attic while 7 months preggers. Didn't fall all the way through though. Traumatic b/c we were closing on that house 2 days later. ooopsies. (We won't even discuss why I was the one in the attic in the first place. I really need to get a hold of that control disorder . . . .)

Good to know that I am not alone in having no freakin' clue (no offense freaks) what Twinkie looks like. (How about a PM Twink?) Oh, and, I kept forgetting to send congrats to the hubby on the new job! Yeah! We love full employment!

Sher - hahahahahaha! love the new tag. That tag fairy knows what she's doing! (but I'm beginning to suspect that Donna is the tag fairy. She always seems to know RIGHT when the tag gets changed, no?)

Horsey - I am seriously considering having a 2 day work week myself. B/c I have so much to do to get ready for vacation! We'll have to see how today and tomorrow go.

Erinelly - sorry you are being worked to the bone. Hopefully that ball will roll around soon . . .

Okay, I'm sure I missed someone - big hellos to Grammy and Jami and Ash and Haley and . . . . puffer. This is how the Morning shout outs started, isn't it? EVERYONE. Hellos to EVERYONE!!!!!!

I know not of which you speak.

In a nod to the upcoming cruise:

1) What did Noah's twin brother the pirate build?
2) What do little pirate kids say when going on vacation?
3) What does a new pirate car cost?
4) What is the famous pirate landmark in Paris?
5) What does a pirate say to a fellow pirate who has fallen down?
ANSWERS BELOW.

1) An Arrrgghhk
2) Arrrgghh we there yet?
3) An Arrrgghhm and a leg
4) Arrrghh de Triumphe
5) Get up you scurvy dog or I'll run ye through with me saber! ;)

Hey Sher and Kitty!!!!!

When do we get more pre-trip chapters??

Sher.....more good news. I hope you have doctored up that bra yet....

U.S. to Relax Air Travel Restrictions

By LARA JAKES JORDAN
Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The government is relaxing its ban against carrying liquids and gels onto airliners, instituted after a plot to bomb jets flying into the United States was foiled, an administration official said Monday.

A Homeland Security Department official, speaking on condition of anonymity because the announcement had not yet been made, said that most liquids and gels that air travelers purchase in secure areas of airports will now be allowed on planes.

That means that after passengers go through airport security checkpoints, they can purchase liquids at airport stores and take them onto their planes, said the official. Announcement of the new rules was being made at an 11 a.m. EDT news conference at Reagan National Airport.

New procedures also were being announced for products like lip gloss and hand lotion that passengers bring to the airport. Previously, those liquids have been confiscated at security checkpoints. Now, the official said, those products will be put in clear plastic bags at the checkpoint, screened and returned to the passenger if they pass screening.

We are SO BORG!!!

I had just gone to check out the Weather Channel site, and got the same page. Came in here to post the link!!!

AND, Jay called me this morning about the TSA regulation relaxation (say THAT 5 times fast!), and I was perusing the TSA site trying to get details!!

How AWESOME does that weather report look? (Although I'm feeling a little wolley for the Lacto/Bergs. Hope they don't mind a little rain!!) Let's hope they're right for a change!!! :dance3:

Yak!!

But will the official announcement occur soooooon???!!
