Reading, seeing and hearing Part 3

I just read what I wrote earlier. Does that even make any sense to anyone except me and maybe Chris cause she knew the deal?????

To clarify if only for myself, I had added 1 more night like 2 weeks ago. Instead of adding a night to my existing reservation, they cancelled it and made a new one, with no free dining.

That was what I got today in said blue and white envelopes, a cancellation and a confirmation. After speaking to 2 managers I have back my existing initial reservation WITH the free dining.

After speaking to Sheri, who was more livid than I, if that was possible, I called back again. Hopefully this mess is being cleared up :rolleyes1

And Horsey, thanks, but I hope this matter is resolved :smokin:

I'm done working for a while. At work, anyway. Got caught up this morning, and my boss will be away tomorrow. So unless she leaves me some huge project... my goal should be easily attainable! I can post for three hours straight tomorrow!! Heck, maybe I'll go for 1500!

Now this afternoon is a different story. I will be working. At home. Gotta clean up from the inlaws' visit because Mark's inlaws arrive tomorrow night. How'd we get so lucky to have only TWO parent free days in ten days? Tink, start praying for my counters, honey. Cause my mom is the Counter Crap Queen. On the other hand, she usually brings food with her, which is somewhat of a plus...but WHY does she have to put it all on my COUNTERS!!!

Ain't DAT da truth.

The crawfish were delish. But we can get them here, too. My Mom and Daddy are coming in October. After their 2 week tour of Hawaii.

TINK, your MIL brought you CANNED PEAS????? WHY??!!??

That is just strange. :confused3

Rhonda, protect the counters! Somehow, I think you will be happier with Mark's in-laws visiting than you were with yours! Then again, thinking back to your birthday, maybe not?!

Grammy, your previous post made perfect sense to me. I'm happy to hear that your potential disaster appears to be resolved.

Done with lunch. Back to work.

Honey I'm afraid so....

Actually, Ash, I have a thing about peas. I will not eat the big ones. They make me gag. My mom is the same way.

My mom always used Dubon Petit Pois peas and I can't get them up here. So I have them imported.

Hey. Horsey has clown issues. I have pea issues.

I do baby. And pee issues.....if one has eaten asparagus...or dribbled around the potty, as in boys....but I do not have pea issues. I love them, especially the petite ones!

Loving this schedule work 2.5 play 3.5...... :yay:

Minnie! What did ya ride? Didn't know anyone else on the thread rode. Nearly everyone here, well, you know, just eats meat...... :sad2:

Okay, Tink. I was hoping it was something like that. I agree with you on the smaller peas being better. Although I prefer not to eat them at all. Not much I don't like, but peas make the list!

BTW, everyone, see below for the official "what you can carry on the plane and what you can't" list, as I basically went through my whole make-up bag with my TA, item by item, to figure out what I CAN take. She decided it was easier to just give me this link:

And for you ladies who were wondering about...*ahem*...enhancing garments...

In case your wondering. I was curious how the screeners would "handle" that issue.

WHAT?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!! you actually thought about this? AND looked it up? eeeeeek!

I am not going to dignify that accusation with a response.

Just taking a break from sorting toys. It all started with buying Mr. Potato Head when we were away.I bought a plastic container yesterday to store it in and it came with two more so I thought I would put Polly Pocket stuff in the other. Well big mistake, my family room looks like something struck. Toys everywhere because I was looking for the million small pieces that goes with Polly. Good time to get rid of alot of small junk while they are in school though. Kinder egg stuff gone.....

Horsey --love your new picture it looks like a painting.

Frickles and Ashcan love the avatars.

If you can't take all this on the plane do they at least let your luggage be heavier?

I'm so sorry Horsey!

I told ya I couldn't do a thing with him! :sad2:

(His mind works in ways that no one understands! :teeth: )

Sorry GA Girl! I didn't mean to copy your ticker! I was just trying to get rid of my worm.

At home on our "farm" - it's only 10 acres but it means we get to keep our horses on our property :smooth: we now have 2 Quarter horses. One is an older mare that is nearly bomb proof and the other is a younger mare that has issues :rolleyes1

In my younger years I had a Thoroughbred that I barrel raced - goregous, fast, and a PIA but I loved her anyways  and several Quarter colts that I've trained and have gone on to great homes.

We also have a 10 yr old Lab (Samantha) and a 4 yr old Australian Sheppard (Cassie), and a big foot cat (Gizmo).
