I was in an aerobics class a long time ago in college and we were on the floor doing leg scissors. You know those things. Anyway, the instructor farted really loud in the middle of it and the entire class ignored her. Except for me. What do you think I did? Yep. The shaking laugh thing. I was in amazement that nobody else was laughing. I know they heard her. ZZUB could've heard her over in the next state drivin' his GMC truck around at Bama. It cracked me up anyway.
SheriMeLayLa~

I'm pretty sure I heard it. What was the date?? 'Cause there was that one time, we had a little rictor scale action up here. :teeth:

And the NMs too. I'm guessing. Cause she's all about TGM. And a strict taskmaster. Apparently.
Ya think??!!!

Thanks again for the 2nd round of Happy Anniversaries. And, Joe, I was thinking of you this morning because I remembered that you were in September, too. So....a belated Happy Anniversary to you & your lovely bride!

Rhonda, my question is this....do your parents know that you are going next weekend? I know you usually keep quiet about all these trips, but it's bound to come up while they're visiting, is it not?? That'll be great if you guys can meet up with the Gracies and/or the Poppins crew!

Tink. Yum, that recipe sounds like my kinda dip!! May have to try it out.

Mommy P, I'm a little behind on TOOT, so I don't know what that is a picture of. Suspect I do not want to know!

I am sitting her waiting for a webcast to begin. It was supposed to start a couple of minutes ago.....but I'm not complaining. Gave me time to catch up! Oops, time to run. TTYL.

Mommy P - what the frick (NOF) is that????

Sorry to bring it up (so to speak) - it looks like thawed frozen raspberries to me???????????????????????????????

Pleez splain, Lucy.

YOJ - Congrats on the tag!!

brandt/dre - I wouldn't worry - my tags are ssoooooooooo old. I don't even remember what they mean.

OK the house is picked up.......and boy was it heavy....yuk, yuk, yuk!!

Just got to "do the Dyson" then off to grocery to find something for dinner.

Rhonda you're off the hook, since you have lots of company coming and TWO Disney trips coming up.

Hey Grammy - :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

MommyP~We're staying at Carribean Beach this trip. We, too, will be at Epicot Friday and MK Saturday.

YAK~haven't been to the store yet. Wesley and I are going shortly. In the rain.

Tink~Recipe sounds yummy. Mark was asking for hummus, maybe I'll make him some to have during the games Saturday. Any ideas on what to serve my family on Sunday after church? I prefer crockpot recipes on Sundays. Or bake in the oven for three hours recipes. Seems like I always serve them the same things. Looking for something new and different.

Just thinking that was a nice way to spend your anniversary. Sorry it is work though. :sad2:

Ash~No, they do not know about the trip. And we have deliberately not been talking about it too much with Wesley, for that very reason. Once they're gone on Sunday... it'll be Disney talk all week long!! Even if he DID say we were going for the end of Cinderellabration~they have no idea what that is, or when it is ending. And I think they do know we're going for the "long" trip. So I'm sure we can play it off. LOL!

Your not misleading. That would be "telling" them something to make them think something different. In this case, you are not telling them anything at all.

Beside, why are you guys crazy for making sure your son has the best childhood he can have? Maybe they are crazy for thinking you guys are crazy. (did that make sense?)

If you ask me, you can't beat the Prime Time Pot Roast. You can either leave it in the crock pot all day or cook the roast at 350 for an hour per pound.

I'll look around and see what else I can find.

A drive by.
To say "Hi".

Miss me??

don't answer that...

Heh, heh.

Be good, kidz.

SIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

nice to see you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where have you been hiding??????????????????????????????????????????

Rhonda,

This is pricey to make and kind of a pain, but it is the BEST mac and cheese recipe I have ever had. It's Patti LaBelle's.

INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound elbow macaroni
8 tablespoons (1 stick) plus 1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Muenster cheese
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded mild Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack
2 cups half-and-half
1 cup (8 ounces) Velveeta, cut into small cubes
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly butter a deep 2 1/2-quart casserole.

Bring the large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the oil, then the elbow macaroni, and cook until the macaroni is just tender, about 7 minutes. Do not overcook. Drain well. Return to the cooking pot.

In a small saucepan, melt eight tablespoons of the butter. Stir into the macaroni. In a large bowl, mix the Muenster, mild and sharp Cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheeses. To the macaroni, add the half-and-half, 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheese, the cubed Velveeta, and the eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to the buttered casserole. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheese and dot with the remaining one tablespoon of butter.

Bake until it's bubbling around the edges, about 35 minutes. Serve hot.

SID!!!!

I miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dre - the recipe is easy.

1 4lb. chuck roast
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 packet Lipton Onion soup mix

I like to add a cup of red wine, but it's optional. (I use Merlot)

You can either bake it, covered, for an hour per lb. at 350 or put it in the crockpot.

No prep! Just dump it all in and cook!

The cream cheese mashed potatoes will be next.

OMG!! Tink~ That sounds WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:sad1: But it's not on my diet.

Cream Cheese mashed potatoes from Le Cellier:

Yield: 8 portions

Ingredients:

2 pounds Idaho potatoes, peeled
1/8 qt. (1 stick) unsalted butter
1 cup (8 oz) cream cheese
1 cup warmed milk
1 Tablespoon Kosher salt
black pepper to taste

Method:

1. Boil or steam potatoes until tender.

2. Using a food mill or mixer, incorporate all ingredients and adjust seasonings as necessary.

Shelby - No. Not from my personal collection. I googled: Do Scientologit eat placenta. :rotfl2:

YaK - I was recently involved in a discussion about scientologist fathers eating their young(s) placenta. I was curious if there was truth to it, or a rumor. I still don't know. But I found that wicked picture and a great recipe. :rotfl: You know.

Rhonda
(sorry for mis-spelling back there, I don't know WHAT I was thinking - I'll be on the lookout for the whirlwinders. We'll be the large group with 4 boys, plus my brother. My parents are coming with my little brother. We're showing them around that weekend.
