Be still my heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jami!!! Thank you for that link! What a hottie he is! Funny you should post that. My Stepmother's son (which would be my stepbrother - but I don't really know him) lives in Brentwood and had lunch with Keith and Nicole today... lucky boy.

Only got to 90-91, but I live in the mountains! Ugh. Good news: waiting on repairman got me out of a meeting. Bad news: repairman ain't showing tonight, it seems. Good news: have two units, and the working one is for bedrooms upstairs. Bad news: non-working one is for kitchen, family room, and, alack and alas, the study where 'puter is. Thus, I won't be on long, I fear. Still, this syrah is smooth and fine with the beef stew I made. . .thanks for the good wishes, tink.

I am listening to Live365 right now and Maelstrom is on.
Just wanted to tell you :)
I got birthday pics :)
Plus pics of my new light fixture in my dining room

Pongo, love your new light and Lady looks adorable.

My Woody didnt get a bandana last time he went, sort of ticks me off, but there are worse things in life!

Finished first round of budget submittal tonight (20 mins ago) and I am BRAIN DEAD!!!! DED even.

Looking pretty good overall, some cost of sales and training details to iron out in round 2, but looks like good cushion in other expense :)..

Later folks... Off to get some dinner

Love the light fixture, Pongo. And Lady looks so purty! She looks like a little boy posing in a suit with a new haircut! :lmao:

MommyP, we miss you, lady, but definitely understand. We've all had those concerns from time to time, and you certainly have your hands full!!!!!!

SleepyD, for some reason, our upstairs A/C has been kinda tempermental this summer. Right now, it's only about 75 degrees up here. Bearable, but I like it a bit cooler to sleep. Hope we get the forecasted storms to cool us down tonight!

Lato & Drebert, you two are cracking me up! Love the lion pic!! Ahhh, marital squabbles on M2, what have we become?!?

Tink, 40 is fab. I'm just a few months behind Horsey. Other than the fact that my metabolism has slowed down, I have NO problem being in my "mid-forties". I'm having lots of fun, and as the kids get older, it'll be even more fun! I think my 30s were a lot tougher, honestly.

Haley, great blog entry today, BTW. Gotta go check to see any new additions since the a.m.

LOOVE the chandelier, Strog! And Lady looks so purty!

I'm still painting. Right now I'm watching it dry. And making blue cheese dressing. From scratch. For my Buffalo wings. So there.

Good evening strommers! Am I still allowed to post here? I feel like I've been gone so much that I should probably re-introduce myself. Did I read that there is a meet going on this weekend? Somewhere up north in the land of confusion? Maybe I misread, I don't know. Anyway.

Hope everyone is doing great. We're doing fine down here in Middle Georgia. Life has been extremely hectic for us, well for me anyway. And when it gets hectic for me it gets the same way for Rhonda cause she gets to have Wesley duty all the time.

But at least for now, we're settled into a routine. FOr today. Tomorrow will probably be a different story!

Here's a question. Anybody got Direct TV? We've decided to make a change from cable and get it. Hope it's not a mistake! We shall see!

Good to be back for a little while!

Blessings!

We've had DirecTV for about 5 years. We have had very few problems. We have had pretty good reception, even during rain and snow. The only problem we have had is having the goofy thing hooked up to a telephone line.

I prefer it over Dish (my Mom has had it for longer than we have had Direct).

Not to worry! This ain't squabbles! It's just tough love.

You have to understand something. We aren't just married, we work together full time too! We have to unwind somewhere!

Welcome FSUMARCHIEF. It's nice to meet you LOL Stick around I think you will like us. No really, I am glad things have slowed down. Maybe we will see you more.

Yes that is a hidden Mickey in my light :) And guess what, Andy picked it out, not me.

Tink...is that the dressing you were supposed to give the the receipe/reciepe for?

Ok everyone HAS to watch Dirty Jobs tonight....at 9 on Discovery. I mean it. He is doing stuff with Geoducks. (gooey ducks) You need to see it.

ITA on the DVR deal. I love my Direct TV.

WB, Mark! Hope it wasn't the Cajun that scared you away!

Still watching paint dry over here, BTW.

I love the books by Janet Evanovich... I'm on her latest titled "Twelve Sharp" they started at "One For The Money" two, three etc. These books are about a bounty hunter...and they are TOOO funny! You'd LOVE them!! I 100% guaran-***-tee it!
I think I must have dual personalities because not only do I love the movies based on the classics like Jane Austin but I like the REALLY funny stuff like Dick & Jane("We're in a pickle, Dick")/ Dumb and Dumber (love)/ Napolean Dynomite etc. Anything from the Sundance Film Festival here in Park City Utah!!!!
For TV I like: Desperate Housewives, All My Children, anything on HGTV or Food network/ Seinfeld re runs/ I Love Lucy/ Leave it to Beaver/ Little House on the Prairie (DONT judge!)/the California happy cows commercials. My Name Is Earl and The Office. I watch too much tv apparently...
I see a trend...anything I can read, watch, or doto make me laugh or feel nostalgic. Comfort Food.

Sorry, I missed the Dirty Jobs, Pongo. I'll bring the cookbook tomorrow to work and post the recipe.

Here's an update on the painting. Me thinks this one will take me some time. But I'm over the hurdle. I actually started it!

Going to eat now. No doubt I will regret it.

Has anybody done the dolphin thing at Epcot?
I am scheduled to go while we are there in September. Just wondering what people think about it.

Mark, when we moved to the country about 5 years ago now we lost all those modern day conveniences (well we still have a few but cable and DSL went out the window).

We've had both Direct TV and Dish Network. Where we live DN seems to work better for us so that is what we have now. In bad weather we do loose the signal and DF often has to sweep out the dish in the winter.

BTW - I can't get into the spice shop right now. I'm downloading the java software tonight so hopefully tomorrow I will be able to.

I miss you guys!

What's everybody been up to?? We're just battling the uprising of mechanical items. The brakes went on my car  and the washing machine died too. I'm sure it was just limping along and then it got a message from Chappie's house. It said .... "give up the ghost! It's much more fun at the junk heap!"

Happy birthday to Tink, and Pongo, and anybody else who's birthday I didn't skim well enough to see.

Welcome, Marky!!!!! I missed you, neighbor, and your pretty bride too.
Shrek and I just saw Pirates and I am off to dream about JD. Yummy.

Tink! You are a fabulous artiste!!!! I cannot even write my name legibly...

I am the only person in town who has not seen Keith and Nicole.... thanks for the story, Frick. They basically ate IN MY BACKYARD!!!!!!!!!!!!
