OIC. Or you'd have to kill me, right?

Once again, you have made the extremely large error of underestimating my power around this place. I AM one of the originals (in more ways than one).

Also, if you think some of these other ladies around here are sassy you haven't seen nothin', honey. (Aw, look. Now you went and got my Southern up)

For my last point, "dear", tomorrow is my 40th birthday. You can imagine (or not, should you choose) what my mood is like this week. You really don't wan't me to go full out Cajun, do you? Because I don't think poor Mark could handle it.

LY/MI!

Anyone care to back me up here? Ladies of the Wax?
I said nothing about killing anyone. . .not yet, anyway. . .

As for gettin' your Southern up, I'll have you know I was born in Naw'leans and later lived in MS for over five years as a kid. Wound up spending the better part of my youth in East Texas which is just an extension of western Loozianna, anyhow. . .thus, I'm not trembling, though I duly respect your stature as an Original. In that regard, I am humble and prostrate (not to be confused with prostate) before you.

In terms of your 40th, I really can't imagine what your mood must be like but I will say that I am much surprised as you seem much younger in your posts. I wouldn't have pegged you for a day over 29.

Any tense will do ladies. And I believe you missed an apostrophe as bookin' is short for booking....

Present tense. I am bookin' it to the bar to get a refill (were i at said bar).

Future tense. I will be bookin' it to the airport friday to fly to see my pals...

I am not worried about corrections at this point and that is truly sad..... :sad2:

Java- you are a red hot techno mama!

Tinky- Honey, you apparently have technically LYAO. KWIM?! :rotfl2: Sheridac too!

Drebert, stick around sista! We got some manwhooping to do....

Lacto- How many posts did you have before you came here? I think you added at least 60 posts to your count....Sleepyslippypup too!
Thanks, Horsey! At first I was upset because I thought you were going to the bar!

I really don't give a crap, except that all my family now live in different states. (With the exception od Dick and Richard, of course.)

I expect the present count will be a bit lower this year. Major bummer.

Lovely. Now I sound like I'm a surfer dude.

Hi everyone.

If you're missed me, or wondered where I've gone.

When I came back online after my 2 week break, I realized that I was very short with my kids that day, felt like crap and got nothing done. I've decided I need to spend less time online and more time keeping my home in order. It's not easy running a house with 4 kids, babysitting, homeschooling, being a wife, keeping a clean and ordering house(I'm obsessive), keeping up with laundry, and being so tired lately.

Like I told Horsegirl, we've already started our school year and I'm finding I need to spend a lot more time schooling 2 than I did with 1. By the time we're done, and chores are done, it's lunch time, by the time lunch is cleaned up, it's nap time. I put the babies down and practically fall into bed with Ethan. We nap together. I never nap. But I can't help but lay down in the afternoons now. By the time I wake up, Chad's home, its time to make dinner, give baths, and before I know it, the whole day is gone.

Everytime I go away, I come back feeling so disconnected that, now is the perfect time to back away, before I get sucked in again. :teeth: I'm not gone for good, I'll be around. I hope to receive PMs about important going ons and such. I'm not gone, just stepping away. It's easy to spend way too much time on here and while I am realizing it, I need to listen to myself and do the right thing.

I'm not done with my TR afterall, and we're going back in like 58 days, so I will most certainly be around. :teeth:

We had a blast at the beach, by the way. The hotel was really nice, lots of familys, everyone was so friendly. Except the last night..when I was kept up for hours by some stupid kids who thought they owned the place. In and out of doors, running up and down the halls, yelling, cursing. I was so mad. This is a Hilton people, get a hold of yourselves. Finally I heard my hero. <knock knock knock> "This is hotel security, you guys are leaving right now!" And all was quiet. :thumbsup2
We spent the whole day at the beach and pool. When afternoon nap time came, I held Kaleb real tight, so he could move around, and stood so he had to close his eyes against the sun. He was asleep in minutes. Everyday. We layed him on a towel in the shade and enjoyed the afternoon without having to watch the baby. Everytime we looked at him sleeping there, we patted ourselves on the back. I know, I'm the most amazing woman in the world. I can make my 18 month old sleep on command, at the beach. :sunny:

I should write a book. :teeth:

Okay, all, I'm out. See you later. :moped:

Pictoral proof is forthcoming. This Saturday. I think Pooh and Gram want to have a butt-off. :teeth:

Would I do that?

It's his fault I am on this time-stealing, habit-forming, hangout for nutcases (no offense anyone, I am one too) thread!! :rolleyes1

Okay, I crown you the King of Comebacks! And compliments. I, too am humbled. I think.

Where abouts in N. O. are you from? I've lived there all my life until Katrina. We are originally from the Lakeview area, which ain't dere no more, as you know. We relocated here after the storm.

Hey MommyP...I got tired just reading about your day. Do what is best for you girl and we'll see you when we see you! Does that make sense?!

Hey DisneyMommyMichelle! I asked about you the other day! Good to see you back!

Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday!!! I just got a package from Yak. She bought me tons of Peanut free granola bars for my little guy who is allergic to nuts. Canada is ahead of the game when it comes to peanut free products. She mailed it from Disney....how sweet is she!

Anyhow, carry on.

Why? Are you doing the silent shake? Or do I need to come pick you up off the floor?

Does anyone know where I can find me a good rooster? :furious:

I know just what you mean. I was struggling with this as well. Trying to be a good Mom and a good wife and keep up with everything at the same time just gets to be too much sometimes.

Time seems to fly when you're on the DIS and it's hard to take a step back but it's so worth it to reclaim some of that time for the ones closest to you. So don't sweat it and go enjoy your life. You take care of yourself and those babies. Cause after all, that's what's important.

Check back in when you can. The Maelstrom will be here.

So you got mad Mommy skillz on the beach, huh? I'm impressed. Glad yall had a good time. But did you bring the Redneck Wagon/Boogie Board/Raft? Talk about 101 uses.

But here's the thing. . .I remember nothing. Was but a wee, wee lad. . .and I mean that in all possible senses. Dad was going to seminary (oops, did I mention my background as a PK? :teeth: ) when I was conceived. So, I kenna tell ya where'd be that I grew up. In MS, it was Clinton, just outside of Jackson. Definitely no reason to be humble around me as I'm neither an Original nor a king. But, I do occasionally have a crafty way with words. . .just when you're not expecting. Keeps folks on their toes, don't you know? ;)

Paint is about to go on the canvas!!!! AAACK! I'm terrified, by the way. I'm just sayin'. Since it's been 7 or so years and all.

Back to your regularly scheduled Dising. Thought you would want to know. :teeth:

Also, I just got my water bill. :scared1: 65.34! WTH????
