Welcome to our Reading Challenge/Goals for 2023!
The words Challenge & Goals are just an option as this is really just a thread where we all can list & keep track of what we have read & also share our reviews (if you want) so others can get suggestions & add to their list. So many books, so little time.....
Again, I will try my best to keep up with everyone's count so if you want to join in again just reply with your goal for 2023. And again, there is no pressure to feel like you have to even have a goal to join. Just list your books & reviews.
I have got so many good referrals/suggestions from the past years that I will never get to the end of my list.
Happy Reading!

Oh, interesting thread! I'm in. I don't have a goal. I read an insane amount of books, usually a couple a week. I read everything and anything - mystery, horror, fantasy, romance, historical fiction, western, classics. I've recently blown through the bulk of the Golden Age british detective series - Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers, Josephine Tey, etc. Currently making my way through P. D. James' Inspector Adam Dalgliesh series, and am on "The Murder Room". Not sure what book number it is in the series, but it's got to be getting close to the end. I'm always on the lookout for my next big read, so I'm sure I'll enjoy this thread. Thanks for hosting!

I had a goal of 30 books this year, and am finishing up number 29 currently. So I will come up just shy of my goal this year. I will set my goal for 2023 at 30 again.
Well, I didn’t come close to my goal in 2022, mainly because we moved. In 2023, I’m shooting for 15.
I’ll keep my goal at 35 even though I didn’t quite make it this year.

Happy reading everyone!
Glad you are all back for the New Year!

Welcome! Looking forward to hearing some of your reviews.

Thanks for the welcome. Oh, by the way, I looked at my Kindle list for 2022 and was at 90 books for the year. Note that most of the detective books I've been reading of late are not particularly lengthy or difficult reads. Okay, I guess Dorothy L. Sayers, Oxford-educated master of language, might take offense at my description of "not particularly difficult"... but you know what I mean. I've been reading good stories. They're not super long, have a great flow and are fun books to read. We'll see what I get into in 2023.

Yes thank you @willowsnn3 for doing this for the group. It’s truly appreciated.
I will try for 32 books. I have a lot of novellas in my kindle to go through.
My books are usually clean, cozy mystery, faith based etc.
Also I may or may not be going on cancer journey 3 so then I will adjust that goal.
Happy New Year 2023 and Happy Reading to all!
