Anybody else know anything about what this is changing too ???
Is the Fantasmic Dinner Package worth using if you have the Dining Plan??
THANKS for Any Comments princess: :smooth:

we had changed our regualr reservation to a Fantasmic reservation for MM. and were not told that it was a limited menu. I had chosed MM because my oldest likes italian and figured there was alot of selection for him. But we all had trouble finding something. Dh who is not picky at all totally hated it and will never go back. I have to agree but the one bright spot is that the service was really good.

Hi,
Can you tell me what the limited menu is like? Is it different then the one on allearsnet? That kinda bums me out because we were looking forward to eating there when we go this year.
thanks!

You can choose any entree and dessert on the menu that you like. The limitations are placed at the appetizer/salad area. You get a large "family size" salad and a small pizza to share. So, for evey 4 people you would get a family size salad and pizza, and each individual can choose any entree and dessert listed on the menu.

To answer other aspect of OP's question -- yes, I would say that using DP for a Fantasmic dinner package is worth it. We enjoyed seeing Fantasmic, but would NOT have enjoyed having to hang out there for an extended period of time just to get seats; it was nice to be able to walk in and sit down in the assigned section and not stress about it.

We ate at MM and LOVED it. We were a party of 6, 4 adults, 2 kids and got to choose 2 of the flatbreads and anything off of the regular menu. Everyone really liked it. If you are going to Fantasmic, the dinner package is definitely the way to go.

Sounds Like Split Decisions.......
Is Hollywood & Vine any Better ???? :scratchin :worried:

Its like comparing black to white. H&V is buffet, MMs is table service, order off menu, italian specifically. Its a matter of choice :goodvibes

We love them both. We hate the counter service at MGM, so we usually do MM for an early lunch, and do H&V for dinner (they don't do lunch). We like the food at both places.

unless things have changed you cant use the dining plan for the fantasmic package, it was an out of pocket expense

We love Mama Melrose although we usualy got there for luch. I certainly hope there is no major change.

My friends were just in WDW, and used the DP for the Fantasmic package. MM is great, I thought the salad was very good, and if I remember correctly, had spring mix, and not cheap lettuce, (iceburg = :crazy2:) But anyway, the flatbread was delicous, the entree, (I had the steak,) was huge, and I couldn't finish, and the tiramisu was the best I'd had in a long time. I liked this restaurant a lot better then I thought I would.

The fantasmic package can be booked with the dining plan.
The fantasmic package being booked with the dining plan, is it 1 TS or 2 TS? :confused3

You can now use your dining plan for the FDP. H&V & MM are (1) TS. Brown Derby is (2) TS

Has anyone gotten a 5:30 or 6:00 ADR time with the FP at MM? We have regular 6 PM ressies there in April because when I called they had 4 and 4:30 times only. That's too early for us.

Wow! I didn't realize that. I wonder if I could change my ADRs. I guess I need to check with my group. I imagine that it might be a problem to find ADRs for FDP for 15 people. :confused3
