Reactions To Evil Queen Shirt...

At the Villain Shop in MGM Studios, I bought a very cool looking sleeveless black tee shirt that reads, "Evil Queen" and has a picture of the glamourous villainess from Snow White. Remember, "Mirror mirror on the wall..."? Well, I wore it to the MK and I can't tell you how many strange looks I got! You would think that they thought I was going to cast an evil spell on them! Oh well, I'm not the Princess type and although I'm really a nice person, I am fascinated by the Villainesses like Cruella, Malificent and the Snow Queen.
A "shrink" would have a ball with that, right?

Hey don't feel bad. Last year while my husband was buying the lonsleeve t-shirt with the word evil on the front and a small picture of churnabog(sp?) on the back, I over heard someone say why would anyone purchase a shirt with the world evil on it.

O'come on people its not like he is actually evil , he just really liked the shirt.

Actually, the next shirt I get should say "DOPEY". I just looked at the shirt again & what it actually says is...
"WICKED QUEEN".

I think its different...I personally love the princesses, but hate the "little girl-ness" of the merchandise. I bought a great v-neck shirt with the original Sleeping Beauty poster (a 50s looking Aurora asleep with a rose) on the front of it @ World of Disney in downtown dis and have rec'd LOTS of compliments on it!

I bought a Haunted Mansion long sleeved shirt a few months ago. It has the eyes from the wallpaper in the mansion up and down the arms of the sleeves. Imagine my surprise that the eyes glowed in the dark You could see me coming a mile away, and I had no idea.....

Oooooh, I think that sounds like a great shirt! While I am most definitely a I do have a special liking for the Snow Queen, she is just so regal and beautiful.

I have a pair of grey short/tank top pajamas with her on them. They have the word "Wicked" embroidered across the front.

I have the same pair in pink with Snow White on them and "Princess" embroidered across the front.

Depends on my mood which ones I wear.

The shirt that gets me looks (no bad looks) is the AK one with Pooh in safari gear looking through a magnifying glass at a real tiger. It says: "Tigger, is that you?".
I had 2 people stop me at MK to read it or show it to someone with them. You could see other people stop and look it over very carefully. A little bit confusing to me at first until I figured out what they were doing!
A few days after the trip I was at Walmart and little kids were waving at me. After the 3rd or 4th one I remembered what shirt I was wearing!

my hubby bought me the 'Grumpy' zip up sweatshirt when we were on our honeymoon back in September.

At one point we were walking around, both in our Wedding Ears, and I had my Grumpy sweatshirt on. Some guy had to comment "Well that didn't take long!" LOL!!!

Sure Kapp, it's called "Villians In Vogue" and it's right on the corner of Hollywood and Vine? I believe. Anyway, when you come into the park and make that first right that takes you down to ToT and Rock N' Roller Coaster, the store is on your left, next to the candy shop.

Help me out here people. There are several posts on this thread mentioning The Snow Queen. When was TSQ ever in a Disney movie? I know there's a Hans Christian Andersen tale of The Snow Queen, and I seem to remember her in something about 40 years ago, but I don't remember her in any Disney movie. So which movie was she in?

Earstou- my boyfriend has the same t-shirt from AK and he got so many comments from people in the parks. People would just walk up to him and start a conversation- very strange!

We ran into the "Evil Queen" from Snow White on our last trip to MGM. She was totally rude and snobby, in perfect character. I loved it! My mother-in-law was ticked off. I kept trying to explain to her that the queen is supposed to be rude and snobby. Some people just don't get it!

"Snow Queen" is a nickname for the Queen in Snow White. So it's "Snow White" and "Snow Queen". There's also "Snow Witch" and "Snow Prince". These aren't their official names though (other than Snow White, of course).

I love the villain merchandise, and had to roll my eyes at anyone who were bothered by the "evil" taglines. The Villain store is my fave!

For Eljay--while I'm not a Shrink, I am a clinical psychologist and have both "bad girls" and "bad boys" t-shirts, the evil queen anger management shirt, and costumes of both the evil queen and Malificent. I just like to say it's the way I get to play out the opposite of who I really am! Next trip, I'm getting the Malificent-dragon t-shirt!

The best "villian" shirt I ever saw was one with Cruella DeVil's face on the front and the words "I Am Going To Scream!"...

DH bought me the "Wicked Queen" anger management shirt last year. It's my favorite souvenir. My granddaughter always tells people that I'm just like the Queen in Snow White, only nicer. I wonder what she means by that?
