I think it's so awesome that you have this board.. It's so awesome that it even exsists.. when I went to Disney back in 2002 I was so depressed.. I weighed 310 pounds for my son's Make-A-Wish trip and could hardly go on any of the rides .. esp at Universal and Sea World. It was so depressing! Esp when I got home and saw how miserable I and HORRIBLE I looked in my photos.. But I decided NO MORE and did something to lose the weight once and for all.. I can't tell you how good it felt to recently return to Disney.. 100 pounds lighter.. Needless to say, I rode the rides like crazy without any worries of "am I going to fit?". I even took updated progress pics in the same spot's I was in my first Disney trip (near Thunder Mountain Railway) I still have quite a ways to go until goal, but for those of you on your way.. I'm cheering for you!!! I totally know the feeling!

:welcome: to WISH! And a great big congratulations on your weight loss to date. I looked at your pictures and you have come a long way on your journey.

I know what you mean about going back to Disney lighter, I went in April almost 65 pounds lighter than my previous trip and the difference was HUGE!

I hope now that you have found WISH you will become a regular contributor, the more the merrier!

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yeah, isn't that so awesome the difference! Just walking around everywhere without "dying" was enough to make me happy! It was like a whole new expierence.. a better one by far!

Congrats on your weight loss!

Congrats on your weight loss!

Thank you.

The biggest thing for me was how much walking I could do without hurting or getting up the next morning in pain. It was bliss.

Yeah.. that was what it was like for me.. It was such an amazing difference. I wish I could say I stuck to my eating plan while there though.. LOL.. but I couldn't pass up those funnel cakes and sweet cream pretzles. YUMMM..
The turkey legs were perfect though for any diet. They were delicious too.

I didn't stay OP either, loved the pretzels, had some ice cream and just plain enjoyed myself. Paid the price though, gained 4.2 pounds and took me about a month to lose it, but it was worth it! Somethings are worth the price we pay.;)

hehe.... had the ice cream too (By tower of terror) and one of those cookie ice cream sandwiches too at Epcot. Your right though, it was worth it.. even though we paid the price (I totally gained too), it's only so often we can enjoy ourselves like that. It wouldn't have been as much fun if we didn't. The last time I went to Disney was because of my younger brother who insisted I needed them time away from the kids (I'm a single mom).. he encouraged me to get away and have some "me" time which I NEVER EVER do so he invited me to fly out to go to Disney with him and his girlfriend for a week.. so it was kinda weird and took some getting used to being away by myself like that without the kids. Needless to say, he totally spoiled me, I felt like a big kid.. and he's the one that really talked me into all the treats saying "you can diet any day.. but you can't be here any day.. so enjoy it!" He was so right, I had a great time! Oh, and the taco salad bowl I had by the Pirates right.. YUMMMMM!!
