So get this! I checked my reservations when the email arrived and we have free refillable mugs?!?!? Since we are staying in a value, I upgraded us to DDP and I thought we wouldn't get them, but I guess they let you have the mugs since originally we would have had QSP? Whatever, I'm pretty pleased b/c that would have been another $78 for us! I printed it out just in case it's a glitch, I have proof that it says we get them!

Actually, from what I've read, the mugs are included with the DDP in 2012!!!!

Congrats on booking onsite with Free Dining! That is AWESOME for you guys. I REALLY hope it all works out and you guys make it. I will keep my fingers crossed for you! Unfortunately, the dates we are going in Oct are in the FD blackout dates! Oh well....we're going anyway!

I'm still here! Love all the new plans and so glad free dining worked out for you. i think two rooms is a great idea. With teens, they can have their own space (and you can have yours!). Loving all the ADRs too. I LOVE Chefs de France- so yummy. I am sad we aren't eating there this time, like you, trying new places instead.

Glad you liked Chefs! I know there are mixed reviews, but I'm guessing we'll like it, we just wanted to make sure we had a variety of unique places to eat since there really are no unique restaurants out where we live. See my next post for the gluttony we'll be experiencing!

Can we say gluttony? That's right folks, Free Dining =pigoutfest apparently, so here's the lowdown on our ADR's...

First off, I was so pleased that after making my reservations for onsite yesterday, I could just make ALL my ADRs online instead of waiting and making one each day. Also, I realized that since we have RFC giftcards for a meal AND a 50$ coupon for House of Blues, that we will be having a TON of TS meals! Yes, we'll have to purchase new clothes to wear home or wear them all unbuttoned at this rate! Here we go:

Arrival day 1-
Rainforest Cafe Dinner (gift cert)

Day 2-
Crystal Palace breakfast
Boma dinner!

Day 3-
Chefs de France lunch
Via Napoli dinner (OOP b/c you can't get everything on the DDP here)

Day 4-
House of Blues dinner

Day 5-
Kouzzina dinner

Day 6-
Rose & Crown dinner

Day 7-
Ohana Character breakfast
The Wave dinner

AND of course all our CS meals and snacks. Think we'll be full enough???

Isn't it so freeing to just get online and make all those reservations at once!

I can't wait to try Boma this time. We stayed at AKL once before and I let my husband's fears of different foods keep us from trying lots of places. This time I just asked which place he really wanted to go and made 90% of the ADRs on my own terms.

getting caught up here...sorry I got behind I don't get the email postings and usually rely on the NEW dates postings at the top of the PTR/TR and just must not have noticed you had been posting...


but wow alot has happened...that is so awesome that you have been able to make some great changes and added in an onsite stay and get the free dining good for you and even more so that your DH says you sound even more excited


that's some awesome magic happening here....

We are also trying a lot of new places for meals this time around. I know what you mean about the ADRs, but don't worry there's still lots of time between now and your trip you will probably 'tweek' them a few times Our ADRs now look nothing like they did when I first made them, although we did have another whole family joining us!!

Yep, I'm really excited, but trying not to be TOO excited b/c I may have to postpone the trip if I can't get all the money by then. I'm not stressing on it though b/c I am saving, and I believe we will get there in 2012, just a little weary about the Jan/Feb dates. I hope we can though b/c I'm really looking forward to the lower crowds and cooler temps! My ADRs worked out perfectly and I'm so excited about free dining!

OMG, snacks...I'm gaining weight just thinking about them! I already have spent some time figuring out CS meals since I like to make sure that there are vegetarian and vegan options at the CS places we go to, but I hadn't given much thought to snacks! Well...that's a lie...the cupcakes at DHS sound amazing, so do the cinnamon rolls at Mainstreet bakery...but I'm trying not to think about it or I'll start drooling!
